We stayed for three days and wished we had booked for longer. We were made to feel very welcome and were very impressed with the care that is taken to ensure that guests enjoy their stay. The house and accommodation are immaculate with wonderful views. The location is prefect to visit The Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey. The breakfasts were excellent with home baked pastries and something special every day.

We were sent to this B&B in the Connemara by the staff of a higher category nearby hotel that had no rooms available. The location is about 3 km away from the entrance of the Connemara National Park, in the countryside. There is a beautiful view from the rooms, that are quiet and have comfortable beds. The lady is extremely nice and ready to help with all possible information.
Breakfast was good with fruit, scones, eggs, yogurth, cereals and home-made jams.
The price was very reasonable.

Very picturesque area, accommodation spotless, breakfasts were tasty, presentation first class , plenty of choice, home made jam and scones. Explored Clifden, The Sky Road Loop, Roundstones, Omey Island, Kylemoor Abbey, Connemara. Fantastic area , friendly people.

We stopped in here for one night in a famous room and loved it. Comfortable beds, attractive rooms and attentive hosts made it good. The breakfast was a excellent too with choices for those who didn't want the full Irish. Great quiet location and lots of little things that always make a difference.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Cornerstones B&B. Eithna welcomed us with a cup of tea and homemade cake, which was lovely, and was happy to give us some advice about places to visit for dinner, walking and for sightseeing. We loved the view of the garden and mountains from our window, and our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable with a wide variety of choices, and homemade jams. Eithna was kind enough to allow us to use her washing machine and dryer. The location was great, being out in the wilds where we wanted to be, but only a short drive to Clifden and Letterfrack. We would definitely base ourselves here again if we get the opportunity to visit the Connemara.

We ended up staying three nights and could have stayed more in this immaculate but comfortable house. Beautifully appointed with little things to make us feel pampered while friendly and accommodating. Gorgeous views, rugged country, great walks, near all of Connemara: this home will be a great hub. There are three public spaces to enjoy: the sunny dining room, a comfortable living room with a peat fire each evening and a quiet upstairs loft space with tea or coffee for any hour. We so enjoyed Eithna, our host, whose touches abound throughout the B&B. Thank you for such a perfect vacation stay.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good with the same beautiful view toward the water.

From the beautiful gardens to the view of the countryside to the delicious breakfasts, this was a hit! It is quiet and tucked away. Only 10 minutes from Clifden. We had stayed in hotels in other cities or towns so this was a nice, homey contrast. Eithna's hospitality was gracious and warm.
