Varaladevi Lake is the biggest lake approximately 4km circular in Bhiwandi. Connected to Temple which got huge statue of God Hanuman approx 60 feet tall, nice palace to visit with family and friends.
This is best place for morning walkers people doing Yog and evening sunset.
If you are visiting Bhivandi, try visiting this place with family and friends you will enjoy nature.

The lake is quite huge and it is interesting to take a round from its shore. Good to watch sunsets.

Varaladevi Lake is the biggest lake in Bhiwandi. It is so big that if you run to complete it's round, you can actually run around 4 to 5 KMs. It has Varaladevi garden (which is in very bad shape now due to negligence) and has peace park managed by Bramhakumaris which is in very good condition, it has a children's play area managed by municipal corporation and famous, old Varala devi temple where Maherchi Saree movie shot.
This is best place for morning walkers people doing Yog and in fact Telugu community staying nearby use it as private swimming pool too and people from slum nearby use it as a free water to wash their cloth and utensils.
If you are visiting Bhiwandi don't go by just slum (it is every where, Dharavi to Kurla to Mankhurd), visit this place also
