This place is in the style of older NZ motels - i.e. heaps of space, comfortable, and quiet, with friendly owners who told us about Fairlie, and where to get a good feed.
It was immaculately clean, and warm and we'd recommend it.

We stopped here overnight to break our drive down from Christchurch.. Friendly welcoming staff.. Clean, super warm rooms.. We had a two bedroom unit, with everything you need.. And reasonably priced.. Highly recommend.. And if your after a delicious home style meal, head to the red stag restaurant just down the road.. As a treat

The Motel is situated in a very quiet area, the unit we were allocated was both clean, comfortable and represented extremely good value. We found the owners to be exceptionally helpful and I would recommend staying there to everyone.

very nice motel, the room is big and spacious with nice couch, nice bedroom and small fully equipped kitchen! the place is clean, the parking is right outside the door and in general a very nice place. the only disappointing is that the internet even though is free you've too keep insert the codes every 2 hours.

This is a slightly dated motel, but very clean. We were happily surprised when it was more like a 1 bedroom flat instead of just a room. There was 1 bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom all separate. This venue had free wifi. Its in a service lane so its quite a way off the main road, and there is not much traffic noise. We had no complaints staying here(apart from the weather :) ).

Friendly, welcoming hosts who clearly take great pride in the presentation and cleanliness of the motel. We had a two bedroom unit which was well equipped and spotless. Comfortable couches and a nice view onto the garden. Would definately stay here again..
