Great Observatory!

Amazing views through the telescopes.

Great location above the town - not affected by street lights!

Thank Matthew M

We have been to Peter and Wyn's observatory several times and enjoyed many hours star gazing. Peter is so knowledgable and we always leave with more information to think about. We highly recommend you visit the observatory. We especially love the dome that turns electronically.

I have enjoyed many happy evenings with our astronomy group with Peter at his observatory . The views you get by looking through the scopes he has are really amazing . Thanks to Peter's hard work in setting this all up , people in the Geraldine and South Canterbury district have the chance of seeing the night sky and also getting some excellent advice on how to get their own telescopes. And find new things themselves in our universe.

Thank Phyllis B

We've visited Geraldine Observatory, with wonderful hosts Peter and Wyn and viewed omega centauri, 47 Tucanae, carina nebula and many other objects in the night sky. Simply stunning views. It was a most enjoyable experience.
We thoroughly recommend a visit.
