“Great fun for the whole family”
Reviewed 4 October 2013

A really fun experience for our family of 4. All of us including the children (aged 13 and 11) enjoyed the ride and the climb up the hill to the magnificent view of the Tasman Glacier. Graeme was a very knowledgeable and humourous host. Good value for money. A real highlight of our trip to the South Island.

“Awesome”

The argo was fun and exhilarating with our fantastic guide Graham. We had not intended to do this trip but are so glad we did and it was worth every penny. Wonderful views from one of the lookouts Graham made us climb up to. Breathtaking. Highly recommend.

“What fun!!”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

My kids described the Argo trip as "Like Indiana Jones in Disneyland, only longer and the skeletons are replaced by cool scenery".
The tour guide Graham really enjoys his job and gives us a fun, humorous and informative commentary during the ride. At the end there is a short but steep climb up the hill to get a view of the lake and the glacier! Absolutely beautiful!!
We took this tour because the boats don't run in the winter and are glad we did - I think it is far better choice than taking the boat.

“Everything awesome!”
Reviewed 7 September 2013 via mobile

We did not realise the boating in the Glaciers of Mt Cook did not operate until mid September. We were then recommended to try the Argo tour. The experience was fun, enjoyable and we had excellent views of the glacier. Our guide Lee was great! Our expectations were exceeded

“Best way to appreciate the glacier when in Mt Cook”
Reviewed 25 August 2013

We were picked up for our tour from our hotel in Mt Cook. Our tour guide, Graeme, was extremely knowledgeable on the Mt Cook area, and provided us with information and entertainment we wouldn't have received without this tour. Value for money, and one of the highlights of our trip. The views were amazing, and the ride on the Argo was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this to anyone considering traveling here, the best way to experience the glacier.
