It is the second time we have stayed at the Devonshire Arms and once again we weren't disappointed. As a group of 10 we were had a warm welcome and started the day in Hattie's tea room enjoying the wide range of coffee and cakes on offer. Whilst there the staff were helpful offering to book us in the restaurant for the evening before it got fully booked. We went for a walk round the charming town to return to the bar where again The service was spot on and a great range of drinks available. We were seated in the restaurant which has great character and informed of the dishes recommend by Gary the owner. Everyone of the party enjoyed their meal and then after we had retreated to the bar it was only a 30 second walk to a warm and relaxing bedroom. Overall another great stay and will definitely be going back!
