Great hotel in Broadbeach, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a family friendly hotel. Great facilities and very clean it is very quiet and very spacious. It has two pools in tower one games room, Spa, Sauna, Zen garden and many other great facilities. As I said I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a family friendly hotel.

Room Tip: Put a request in for tower 1

We stay 1 night on the 30th Floor, in a 2 bedroom appartment. The service from the moment we arrived to leaving was excellent. The room was very clean and the view was amazing. I would highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Peppers in a “Two Bedroom Suite” which we had booked through the Entertainment Book. There are two towers: Tower 1 being closer to the beach and Tower 2 behind it. We were not sure which of the two towers we would get but were not too worried as it wasn’t essential for us to have ocean views. We had asked for as high a floor as possible so was very pleased to get floor 27 and a corner apartment which is slightly larger than the others, as seen in the floor plan. Our apartment lounge looked out to Jupiter’s Casino and the hinterland. Noise was not an issue on our floor.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and in top condition with 2 complimentary coffee pods to use in the machine. Further pods were available to purchase at $2 each which we thought was reasonable. There is also a mini bar and selection of cold drinks, beer, wine. There are indeed European appliances as per their website if that’s important to you.

There was a TV in both the lounge and master bedroom with good channels and some free of charge movies and some pay to view. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of spare pillows and a blanket. There are also robes and slippers provided, hair dryer, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board etc. Plenty of storage space and drawers for clothing, shoes etc.

The pool area is very nice with a good BBQ area as well. The pool in Tower 2 is a lap pool, with a shallower kids pool next to it. It is a tepid temperature so ok for a July dip. The spa was lovely.

The only thing we would keep in mind for further bookings is that the two towers operate completely separately. We asked if we could use the pool in Tower 1 and were told that their body corporate rules prevented guests from using facilities in one tower if they are staying in the other. Wasn’t a big issue for us but would have been good to know.

All in all I would definitely recommend Peppers. You are paying a premium but you will get premium accommodation with modern décor, quality furnishings and all the bells and whistles. We look forward to staying again.

Points to remember:

Quoted from their email confirmation sent to us: “We make every effort possible to fulfil all requests however cannot guarantee requests such as room numbers, views, floor or Tower allocations. Our One and Two Bedroom Suites are located on the lower to mid floors across both Towers. The only room types that guarantee high floors and in Tower One are the Two Bedroom Premium Ocean View Suites and the Sub-Penthouse. If you would be interested in upgrading to one of these room types to secure Tower One, please ask our Reservations team for our upgrade fees".

This is a truly wonderful place to stay. So close to the beach, and all amenities (restaurants, supermarket, transport etc). Walking distance to Pacific Fair, and Jupiters Casino. We had requested early check in as we have a toddler who needed a morning sleep. When we arrived and were told check in was not until 2, the guy looking after us was REALLY reluctant to accommodate us and asked for proof that we had requested early check in. I gave him the email evidence and he still wouldn't budge and said we could use the hotel facilities. Clearly he doesn't have a toddler. I pushed, and pushed (which I hate to do). I understand there is no obligation on their behalf, but why should we have to get 'narky' for them to go back and "see what they could do" for them to emerge and magically have it all organised. He could have gone back to check as soon as I enquired. His whole approach was the issue, he made us feel bad for asking. We even offered to pay extra. We felt we had done what we needed to, in terms of advising our requirements when we booked and were disappointed by his handling us at check in. This left a yucky taste in our mouth from the start. Lucky the apartments were so great. Great layout and amenities. We stayed in a 2 bedroom Ocean view apartment on the 31st floor in tower 1, wonderful views. A fantastic park about a one minute walk on the beach foreshore was great for our son. We were wanting to extend our stay, but decided not to as no credit was given for the 3 nights we had already stayed and we were only offered standard rack rates for the additional 2 nights. I'd suggest in the low season, when occupancy rates are lower they review this and possibly offer long stay rates, if they had been even a little flexible we would have stayed the additional 2 nights, but opted not to. Also note this is a non smoking hotel - you are not permitted to smoke anywhere in the hotel - not even on your balcony.

Room Tip: Definitely book a high floor. Even on the 31st floor you could hear a lot of street noise.

We stayed here for 5 nights as a family of 4 with 2 young kids in a 2 bed apartment. Had a great deal with wotif for $299 per night with ocean views. Loved the location, lots of restaurants and a Woolworths nearby. We arrived late, after 9pm and unfortunately by the time we got to the apartment, the delivery service was no longer available. My husband asked the receptionist for a McDonalds or anything that's open but wasn't given anything helpful. The ones given were all closed. Only to realise the next morning that there was a 24hr McDonalds nearby. We loved the view, marred only by Tower 1 in front of us and another building, but still magnificent, as we were on level 33. The apartment was clean and serviced every day. I have stayed at Mantra apartments before and they only service every 3-4 days. The dishwasher was loaded and turned on some days but others not, which I can only presume is due to different individuals servicing the rooms. I would have given this 5 start if the receptionist was more knowledgeable about the area and the service was more consistent. Other than these minor details, I loved our stay and would love to go back again if given the chance.

We stayed at Peppers for 2 nights (Fri/Sat) in a 1 bedroom Ocean Front Apartment in Tower 1. We were located on the 10th floor (requested a high floor) and whilst the view was nice, a full view was obscured by the Apartment block in front of the hotel. The apartment itself was lovely, but we have slept on more comfortable beds at other 5 star hotels. The service at check in was efficent and our early check in request was accomodated.
The resort had a very nice feel to it, polished, friendly and definetely a cut above the norm. The Resort is in the Oracle complex and there are wonderfull restaurants and cafes witin the precinct. The Cuban restaurant was a great experience. We would reccomend Peppers to any intending travellers

Room Tip: If you can afford the extra, book an Ocean Front apartment, beautiful views and request the highest...

We stayed with 3 young children in a 2BR apartment. The apartments are very modern and couldn't have asked for better facilities with a young family. Great pool, gym and games room which the kids loved. The location is perfect for holidays. Everything is close and within walking distance including restaurants, the beach and playground. As good as the location and quality of the rooms are the best part of our stay was the outstanding service from all staff that we came into contact with. Best I have experienced.
