Last weekend myself and 2 girlfriends had the pleasures of staying at The Bel Air at Broadbeach . It not only had wonderful facilities - pools gyms etc and a wonderful room with great views and lovely fittings it was also close to lots of lovely restaurants and shopping. The casino is over the road and the beach an easy 2min walk. I would recommend it for couples, friends, families and business as it seems to have everything. Thanks to all the staff for their suggestions and service - we had a fantastic time - see you next year!!
Camilla - Sydney

Room Tip: I think all the rooms would have a great view of either the ocean or the river but worth asking anyway.

We are able to watch sunrise from our 7th storey apartment!
Place is very clean, cosy and well equiped. The oven is even lined with fresh aluminium foil for our use.
There are dish washer, washing machine, dryers and all necessary kitchen utensils. Cleaning agent like packet laundry powder, dishwashing detergent and scourer(brand new) are provided.
There is also a heated indoor pool.
The only downside-no free wifi in the apartment. We saw a notice saying that we can access free wifi at some public areas if we buy food from the cafe at level 1. We did exactly that, only to find out on our checkout day that actually apartment guests could have free access to wifi at an area near the receptionist.

Dear ZhaoXiuMei
Thanks for this great review. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed yourself so much. We are very close to a solution which will provide wi-fi to the rooms so hopefully when you return that will be in place.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bel Air. The room was apparently a "budget" suite, but there was nothing budget about it. 14th floor with gorgeous views, fully equipped with everything you could ask for, and extremely tidy. The staff were friendly to deal with, and went out of their way to ensure that we were kept happy.
We'll definitely be back to stay again, without hesitation. Special thanks to Monica, Kylie and Aaron at reception, for making us feel like rock stars.
You guys are the best.

Shane, Tracy and Shay.

pros.....This was our first time staying at the bel air.And i was not dissapointed
Great location, short walk to Pacific Fair shopping complex, Jupiters, restaurants & beach. For us, it was perfect, just out of the hussle of Surfers paradise, but close enough.
It was central to the bus stops so if we did not feel like walking we could hop on the bus.
The pools were great. The function and overall appearance of my room was great.
Staff very helpfull

cons..... I Stayed on the 3rd floor; no beach views :{

overall it was a great stay
It was so great im booking again 28th dec till jan 2nd for new year.
hopefully i will be high than the 3rd level this time

We needed to locate a unit that was suitable for someone in a wheel chair. The disabled access unit that was provided at Bel Air (2 bedroom) was perfect. The only issue I had was keeping to door open as I pushed the wheel chair through as the person I was pushing could not assist me. I guess having a door able to stay open would be against fire regulations. Anyway the facilities appeared to be well kept although I did not use either pools. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the Bel Air café had a lovely selection of food and beverages (loved the freshly squeezed fruit juice and mango smoothy). Location was great just across the road from a large shopping centre, Jupiters Casino and Draculas. Our unit was quite with limited road noise (although main road outside resort was being maintained so traffic was being diverted). Would definitely stay again.

Hi Extensive Traveller
Thanks for this great review. Our disabled rooms are very popular and our wheelchair bound guests give us great feedback about the facilities. In relation to the door issue, yes fire regulations prevent us from allowing the door to be propped open for any length of time, however we do provide door wedges for the internal doors which could be used temporarily for this purpose.
Comeback and see us again soon
