security very good - make sure you got your pass or you won't get in. Massive building so quite a walk to facilities!

“Great convention centre”
Reviewed 2 September 2014

Brilliant location, well managed, security staff possibly a little officious in tone but overall a great location for conferences.

“Brilliant place to attend a conference”
Reviewed 28 August 2014

We have attended several conferences and exhibitions at the convention centre. The location is perfect, just across the road from Jupiters Hotel and and also very close to several other quality hotels to suit all levels of budget. The new Gold Coast light rail transport system is at the door step and this provides cheap no fuss transport north to Surfers Paradise and beyond.
The centre has comfortable rooms of various sizes which can cater to intimate groups right through to very large gatherings for concerts and exhibitions.
Any catering we have experienced within the venue has always been first class.
Parking underneath is quite dear but free parking is available across the road at Jupiters Hotel and Casino.

“Cold”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

Great conference centre being on the water front if you go outside. Close to lots of apartments and hotels and eating places. It is however freezing for lectures. Take a jumper!

“Dance Moms High Tea”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

The convention centre is new, clean and huge. The only problem is the parking costs on to of your entertainment costs. The room we were in was nice and big, but did have trouble seeing from our seats.
