We stayed for five nights last week, and as usual it was fantastic, the people who run this resort are just lovely, the resort is spotless, the rooms are very clean, comfy beds, great views, close to everything and close to many restaurants, we will be back next year

Room Tip: Choose any floor with a d

Our friend recommended this place when we mentioned we didn’t want to stay in Surfers. We didn’t regret it, its much nicer staying in Broadbeach and this place was excellent value and close to everything. The views from the 10th floor where great, we were lucky enough to see some whales swim past. The heated pool was good for an afternoon swim and the BBQ area (gas BBQs) next to it made for an easy dinner on a couple of nights. Shopping was easy with Woolworths in the shopping centre just across the street and the kitchen had all the stuff we would normally need at home. The room wasn’t huge, but for our younger family it was fine. If the kids were older, I’d recommend paying the extra for a 2 bedroom apartment elsewhere.

Great location for dining and to have a drink or two within close proximity to the resort.
The rooms were basic but comfortable for two people but the pull out bed was a tad too small for two teenagers. The staff were helpful and they have free undercover parking which was handy. In all the resort was suitable for our short stay.

we are just home from a wonderful 3 weeks at the Voyager. This is a great place for a couple, all balconies have sea views, and it is just around the corner from a supermarket and restaurants. It is spotlessly clean, and the amenties they provide with teatowels, dishwashing, potscrubs etc plus 2 towels per person.is a bit more than most places..There is a library in the basement, and the spa is lovely and warm and a decent size. The pool is great as well. They have a tv in the bedroom plus aircon in both lounge and bedroon. The whole place is very well equipped. We have stayed there a number of times over the years and never been dissapointed.

Room Tip: choose a d unit in summer for wonderful views all round, but it is a bit cold in winter. The a units...

My husband and I are regular visitors to the GC and have been for a long time. This is our favourite GC resort. I discovered it on TA a few years back and just love coming back. The staff is great and the rooms are very clean, which is always one of my biggest concerns when I am on holidays. The building is older than others around it, but its rooms and facilities are still tidy and very comfortable. The ocean views are great especially in the evenings.

The location is perfect, right next to the beach and the shops and café and restaurant areas (Max Brenners is about a 50m walk and Fuku in the Neicon Plaza is great for cheap Japanese, especially Chicken Teriyaki, only $10). My husband and I like the D apartments but we’ve stayed in others and they were very similar. Like another reviewer said, it’s not a luxury stay but for the price it is impossible to beat (we had a look at Pepper's but at more than double the price it's really not worth it).

Can't wait to return in November.

Room Tip: D apartments look down to Coolangatta so we prefer these but all the apartments we've stayed in...

Stayed for a week, and wished I could have stayed longer. Great position, staff very helpful, car parking, and views of the water....and Broadbeach is probably the best beach in Oz. Also walking distance to restaurants, cafe's and the casino.

Room Tip: The higher the better the view - obviously.

We stayed here in March 2014, as we don't like surfers anymore (love broadbeach) and it was in a great location & good value for money.
We ended up with a north facing room which had a gorgeous ocean view. The room was very clean. I was impressed to find two air conditioners and fans in the rooms. Unfortunately the rooms are one bedroom which meant we had to use the sofa lounge which is very uncomfortable but ok for a few nights sleep.... Some of the rooms are newly renovated but unfortunately ours wasn't. The pool was nice for a swim although we mostly swam at the beach. I will be back next time we are on the Gold Coast although it would be nice to see some rooms with two single beds (avoiding those sofa lounges!)
