We visited this restaurant halfway through our second week and wished we had tried it earlier! The service provided by Paolo and his staff was top class. They could not have been nicer or more helpful. They were very knowledgeable about the food and wine menus and Paolo told us that all the food was purchased and cooked fresh daily and even the vegetables were grown on his own land. We were presented with complimentary starters, bread, alioli and olives whilst we chose our tapas. We had 4 portions to share between us, which was more than adequate. We were also invited to try a dessert, even though we weren't ordering one and this was also free of charge as was the large post meal liqueur(s). The bill for the food and a nice bottle of Tempranillo (12 euros) came to around 32 euros, which was inclusive of a 10% discount.
We visited aagain, a couple of days later (as we had to have a second visit!) and again terrific service and lovely food at a reasonable price. As before we were given complimentary starters, bread etc and a 10% discount off the bill.
We cannot praise Paolo and his staff enough. Eating at Los Munekos has to be one of, if not the best dining experience we have had. If we lived in Caleta, we would definitely be regular customers.
Good Luck Paolo with your first solo venture!!
