Beautiful hotel in excellent location. Stayed in a superior room, with bathrobes, slippers and towel for pool. Lovely restaurant with fabulous staff that are there for breakfast and the same staff for evening meal. The only down points were the long wait to get into rooms and charge for safety deposit boxes. Other hotels of similar rating have free safety deposit boxes that work with codes.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms have sunbeds all above have chairs and footstools.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 week from 1st March. All inclusive. Location great only 15 mins from airport. Very clean and comfortable. Food was repetitive but good quality. Staff in restaurant were not at all helpful. We were all inclusive and if you asked for a second drink with your meal, you were ignored or they were rude. This is a Shame as this is an excellent hotel which is let down by restaurant staff.

We stayed in a standard sea view room on a half board basis in block 2. The plus points were: lovely winter sunshine, large modern, clean rooms with a large comfy bed(although this was actually two small doubles pushed together , not zipped, together, so not the most romantic).
The disadvantages were that you had to pay for all those little extras that are normally included in a hotel of this rating. For example, e21 for the safe for a week, e21 for parking for a week, e18 each for the use of the indoor pool per session, e20 deposit for two pool towels and e2 for each clean beach towel ,no pool attendant, no porter taking language to your room, no cushions on sunbeds. There was no wi-fi unless you were in superior rooms. Generally bar prices were reasonable but as a sangria and large beer were e2.50 each a small Pepsi in a paper cup by the pool was over priced at e2.50.

The restaurant is very large and busy and is more like eating in a noisy bustling food hall in a shopping mall it lacked atmosphere. Although there was plenty of variety of basic food the quality left a lot to be desired and was too basic for those of us who like to sample local cuisine while on holiday. I would describe it as edible canteen food and does not show Spanish cooking at its best.

The outdoor pools are unheated and in March are only used by the very brave. The pools by block 2 are quieter but by the snack bar are noisy with, at times, 'hi-de-hi' ,style entertainment blares out. There are however plenty of sunbeds yet people still put towels on and walked away.

Walking around the hotel corridors was more like walking around a draftee concrete multi storey car park than a good hotel with no feeling of luxury. Noise echoes around so you are woken by others in these concrete corridors.

Overall I won't be repeating this experience.

Room Tip: I think all inclusive and superior rooms can use the spa for free.

My partner and I decided to holiday in Fuerteventura for my 50th birthday. We were very impressed with the service and cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were excellent, very comfortable and spacious with a separate bathroom and dressing area with a sink and mirrors. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a great nights sleep with warm quilts for bedding. We would definately recommend this hotel, the location in the resort was good. The food always had plenty of choice on offer and the bar drinks, cocktails etc were very good

I stayed at this hotel at the end of January, 2014, It was a large hotel, and too big to be personal, I was rather disappointed with Fuerteventura 2 weeks was probably too long, It was my first visit to the Canaries probably not my cup of tea, the weather was varied, very warm when you got out of the wind when the sun came out. There was not a lot to do except walk along the same promenade, most people were happy to sit and watch the world go by.
I think it is a place you either like or dislike, but I guess if you want winter sun, this would be 1 destination, without flying further.
I think as with the rest of the world, the weather may not have been normal, for the island

Room Tip: Worth paying the extra for a sea view and not a room on the ground floor, I did not, and sat looking...

We have just returned from seven nights here. The arrival at reception was fairly chaotic as the transfer coach was full. As others have mentioned we were sent for lunch because the room wasn't ready and our welcome to the restaurant was disheartening - we were waved aimlessly towards a seating area without so much as a hello.

I was really excited by the room (3315,) we had emailed beforehand to ask for an upper floor room and the hotel obliged. The view over the pool is lovely and the balcony was a sun trap at times. The bed is absolutely huge which I didn't like but it was comfortable. The air conditioning didn't seem to be operational but with the February weather it wasn't really necessary. The cleaners don't practice the attention to detail that I would expect from a 4* hotel but that could be my pickyness because it was clean enough. The TV remote was broken and the channels weren't working, again not to be expected for a 4* resort but we didn't miss the TV at all and I'm sure we could have taken it up with reception if it was a real issue.

I am a fussy eater so the food was great for me; toast available at every meal! There was a different meat every evening (chicken, pork, veal and turkey) and a different fish. There was always chips, salad, breads, vegetables and pizza. It tasted nice and there was plenty of options. It was always warm. The huge negative in the restaurant is the service. The staff seem quite overworked and it is difficult to get a drink order placed. At times the staff seemed very abrupt.

The pool bar was nice, the All Inclusive area was well stocked with wine, cava, soft drinks and at specified times there was food - although it was a little cold, but the timings of the buffet; breakfast until 10, lunch 1 - 3:30 and dinner 6 - 9:30 means you don't really need a snack.

The spa is beautiful, well worth the upgrade to superior - we used it everyday. The pools are so relaxing and the airbeds by the outside pool are fantastic. We had a treatment each; the men's facial was great but my "aromatherapy massage" was awful. I have regular massages in the UK, and I was expecting a relaxing experience for my last day. The therapist didn't speak a single word of English and I had no idea how she wanted me to dress or lie. The "massage" turned out to be a lot of prodding on the face and skull and being covered in lemony scented oil. One negative is that you have to pay for calling the spa from the hotel.

The evening entertainment isn't great - we actually left early a couple of times because it was a bit cringeworthy. It is incredibly difficult to get one drink ordered let alone a second. The cocktails are nicely presented and the tequila sunrise is nice (although it is questionable whether it contains tequila.) However, it was nice spending evenings on the balcony reading or just spending time together and we could have ventured out of the resort if we had wanted - there are plenty of bars and restaurants around.

All in all, we had a lovely time. We kept ourselves to ourselves. The experience would not have been the same had we not used the spa but I think if you go to a spa hotel it is to be expected. It is a shame that some of the staff are abrupt, but they do a great job of keeping the hotel presentable and the food plentiful.

Excellent hotel and very service minded staff.
Marvelous breakfast. Located in a nice area with several god restaurants in the proximity. Hotel ground well kept. Beds a little on the soft side. God value for money
