Has been nice in its day but currently undergoing an upgrade which to be honest did not interfere with us at all. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Main dissapointment for us was the pool bar with swim up bar featured in the pics no longer exists, the swim up bar has now been turned into a huge plant pot filled with cactus so no refreshing drink on a water submerged bar stool for us. we signed up for a loyaylty card for this hotel group before we went and the main attraction for us was the promise of a welcome pack which I stupidly assumed would be water milk and basic essentials, when we arrived there was no welcome pack however after asking for it then we were given it on the second day, it contained 3 apples and 2 oranges albeit they were beautifully presented and wrapped in celofane with ribbons this was a bit of a joke, the appartment kitchen was a bit under stocked ( not even a kettle although you could hire one for 2 euros a day which is a bit of a liberty) I agree with other comments about it being quiet and not much to do however there are several bars and restaurants just a 2 minute walk from the front door which all served good food and the walk into the next town Calleta del Fuste is only 15 - 20 minutes walk and the views are amazing. caletta offers a much bigger range of attractions . One tip for anyone going to here or Caletta is don;t bother with airport transfer bus as taxi is only 10 euros and apporx 10 minutes drive. taxi into calletta was never over 4 euros On the whole we enjoyed our stay but will read small print a bit more closely in future.

Room Tip: our appartment was in the sports centre part if the building and faced across a huge expanse of open...

Dear Brian L,

Thank you for taking the time and the effort to share your comments with other travellers.

I am very sorry that there is a misunderstood about the pool bar, what we have are some seats inside the pool where people can order the drinks at the pool bar and sit there, unfortunately there is no bar inside the pool.

We are glad that you enjoy the promenade that goes to Caleta de Fuste, as you say the views are amazing.

Thank you for the comments on the staff, I will pass these comments to them.

2 bedrooms, kitchen/dinner/lounge and bathroom. Sea view from its 2 balconies.Clear and recently redecorated.
However as we found during the forthcoming week items which we misssed like mirrors in bedroom and hair drier suddenly apppeared.
Option to upgrade for week at €15 day a person sounded good after having bought 4 burgers and 4 beers on arrival whilst waiting for our room to be readied cost €28. However this was a base and we were to be out every day before breakfast was served so declined this offer.
Staff, like nearly everyone we came across on the island were friendly and helpful.

Dear ColinTayl,

We are glad that you take some time to shore your experience with other travellers in this website special for travellers.

We are redecorating the hotel and modernizing it. All this is just to give to our guests a better service and a better experience during their stay.

As you mention the option to upgrade to HB or AI its a very good option and something we encourage to do because we think it is a good deal for the guests and they do not have to be looking for a restaurant to have dinner or lunch.

Thank you for your comments about the staff, will share it with them. They are the main tool of the hotel, nothing to do without them.

We have not long got back from staying here .. not stayed that this hotel before but stayed at san Jorge .. its having work done at the moment all over the hotel rooms pool tennis courts .. but they do put a free bus on to go to the beach every day ... but nothing to do nothing around it I was a bit shocked but clean and tidy ,, I won't recommend if you got children to go here .. ..from our room you could see the planes landing and taking off on the runway .. but very quiet .. don't think I would stay here again for a while anyway .. nothing to do .. the food sometimes was only lukewarm and not a lot of choice.. poor really ..but the staff was very helpful all the staff ..We went out most days walked down the coast road and fed the chipmunks on the rocks .. and got the free bus back at tea time .

Room Tip: choose a room on south side over looking the road ..but very quiet

In june it was very quite which we appreciated but the hotels / appartements around the hotel are empty. Feels a bit like a ghost town. The supermarket had all we needed. 2 km to the next beach which is very nice, the sea is great. Good transport by free tourist bus. There were several service "lacks"... we had an appartement and cooked ourselves, so I can´t comment the food.

Room Tip: Higher floors are quiter

Dear Simone H,

We would like to thank you for having the time to let us know your experience in the hotel.

It is good to hear that you appreciate the calm and quite at the hotel during the month on june. June is always a good month to stay in Fuerteventura, not as busy as July and August and with very good weather conditions.
We are pleased that you found everything you need from our supermarket.
I will strongly recommend you to book next time with Half Board or All Inclusive (depending on your plans arround the island), so you can taste our breakfast, snacks and dinners.

Hope to see you soon,

My friend and I came here June 20014, we were delighted with the beauty of the hotel and the pool area, however there were hardly any other holiday makers. There were hardly any staff, although all were very friendly. Were paid for half board the breakfast was the same thing everyday.... and the evening meals were supposed to be buffet but because there less than 10 customers during our second week it changed to A la carte! There are lots of facilities but because of the lack of people there were all out of action, the gym, the jaccuzi, the evening entertainment was zero and there was nothing at all for children. We had a very quiet holiday, the nearest beach is a free bus ride away, which is beautiful, there were tiny insects on the kitchenette surfaces, we had to get the cleaner to use a special spray but to no avail, we were brought some bread rolls and the insects were in the bread! During our stay there was a man replacing the floor tiles around the pool area and during our second week there were builders renovating the rooms all around us, the staff tried to pacify us by saying they will have finished with all the banging and drilling by tomorrow!!!!! I will never stay there again!

Room Tip: Don't bother!

Dear Marrishel,

Thank you for taking the time to explain your experience to other customers in this web for travellers.

We are pleased that you were delighted with the beauty of the hotel and the pool area, we have a very good pool area and, as you has seen during your stay, we are improving this area for the comming months.
I will translate your comments about the friendly staff to all of them, they give their best in order to satisfy the needs of our guests.
We feel sorry that the option of A la carte didn't fix to you, it is an option that we do in order to give a better service to our customers and in order to serve all of them the food just cooked.

I hope you give us another chance to improve your feeling about the hotel.

My husband and I stayed here 1st week of May, and to be honest we had a really relaxing holiday. No fighting for sun beds, no queuing at the bar, that was probably because it was no where near full to capacity. However, it was nice to go to a hotel that was so peaceful. The other good points are the staff, they are a credit to this hotel and nothing was too much trouble, very attentive and very polite, which made us feel very welcome. The rooms were tired, but clean, and we were told that the rooms are all to be upgraded which will be started in June. I have to concur with the previous review about the pool work, this was terrible and on the day that the angle grinder is in operation it is full throttle from 10am to 4pm! Dust everywhere, so no food was being prepared at the outside pool bar. However, the manager was accommodating and said that we could use the facilities and eat at their sister hotel, San Jorge and Antigua which is about a 20 minute walk, or there is a free bus that operates. The walk however is a pleasant one along the coastal path. We stayed all inclusive and didn't feel that we got value for money, food is not that appealing and only warm, we're not big drinkers either so it may have been better going self catering. The walk into the town and your nearest beach is a good 45 minute walk along the coast path, can be tiring in the heat! But the hotel does put on a free bus shuttle, so make use of that. All in all, you get what you pay, but we never. It never spoilt our holiday though as you make it what you want, we hired a car and visited other parts of the island which was nice.
If you want to be near a beach, this hotel is not for you. If you want entertainment, this hotel is not for you as there're was none. If you have children, I'd most definitely think again as there is nothing for them at all.

Room Tip: Pool view a must, otherwise you may be overlooking derelict land!

EH DIDNT I ALLREADY PAY WHEN I BOOKED ALL INCLUSIVE? !!!!! when we was there 1 family left the same day and another family moved to another hotel 2 days later!!!! so what did we get for our all inclusive money..... no food or drink no use of any of the facilitys a poorly child over all an absolute sham! one of the worst hotel ive ever been to in my life

Dear emma e,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience in this website for travellers.

I am very sorry that the place where the hotel is looks like derelict for you, there is a neighborhood association that is working hard side by side with the hotels placed here to keep improving the surroundings of the residential zone.

As you mention we are improving the hotel for all the guests, common areas, pool areas, etc... all designed in order to give a best experience for all of them in the coming days.

We appreciate your kind words for the cleaners, as you say they work hard and do an excellent work. I will move your words to them.

I wish to see you soon and hope you give us another chance to meet your expectations.
