Reviewed 31 August 2014

Myself, my husband and my two children aged 8 and 6 stayed here on the 10th August for 9 nights all inclusive.
To begin hotel really close to airport so don't get a transfer use the taxis they are reasonable cost us 15 euros and only takes 10 mins.
The hotel could do with some maintenance work bit of painting ect, but the staff work tirelessly to keep everywhere clean. Our room cleaned every day and towels done, you could smell the cleaning products when you came back they did a great job. Room location we had was great 230. You do have to get up and take your towel down, but this is the case anywhere you go.
Lifeguard works really hard and will find you a sun lounger if you can't get one he was around the pool all day. Bar staff were great particularly 'Manny (I think his name is?)' Who works in the pub he was great to the kids made them cocktails and on their last he night gave them sparklers in their drink!
Thomas cook reps were good ran various entertainment through the day for kids and adults.
Food was exactly what all inclusive is you had pasta, fresh bread, salad station, meats, veg, chips and then the theme meal of the night. Breakfast was good varied pool snacks if you don't want to leave sun lounger.
Good location beach close, lovely walk in the evening to walk off dinner.
This was a lovely holiday and its exactly what you would expect from a three star hotel just a bit of tlc around the complex and this would make for a fantastic holiday.

Lovely place, food was amazing very spacious apartment, only downfall is that u cannot get a sun lounger unless u speak to the life guard he will remove towels for u ! Entertainment was OK karaoke was really funny in the pub. Kids enjoyed it too ! Don't be put off by some of the bad reviews it was a grill holiday with lush weather !

Room Tip: U can't choose ur room! We were in room 126 and it was absolutely fine, couldn't see the poo...

Stayed here 22-29th aug all inclusive could always find something to eat drinks were fine and weather was fab. Yeah the place is dated a little dirty in places but you will find this in every 3 star hotel you visit. The Thomas Cook reps work very hard and make a big effort to get everyone to join in if that's your thing yes it can get noisy but that's cos it's a family favourite hotel so if you not got kids don't stay here and moan about the place if you are used to four star and above do not stay here and moan cos it is only 3 star. my wife and I were worried about bringing our two sons aged 9 and 17 after reading all the negative reviews on here and tried to book in the barcelo at a much greater cost but so pleased we didn't we all had a really fab time and met some great people calleta de fuste is a really nice place although quiet do try and visit Fado Rock for a meal if you like steak and meat because it is fantastic

Dear Kelly P.,

thank you for taking your time to share your opinion with us.

I believe that every holiday destination is different and if you expect calm holiday in August, Fuerteventura is not a place for you, but as a spot for families and groups of friends - the island is perfect. Broncemar Beach lies only 300 meters from the main beach in Caleta de Fuste, shopping area is on the way - if you want to be "in the center of the events", for sure you will be glad about choosing our hotel.

I am pleased to learn that you enjoyed your Broncemar Beach experience. It is true that we have three stars according to the local clasification, but we aim high, trying to make everyone's holiday special. We are currently refurbishing whole complex - if you visit us again in 2015, you should notice introduced changes. Do not hesitate to contact us in case of doubts or questions, our receptionists will be happy to assist you.

Kind regards,
José Luis Suarez

I lived and worked in Fuerteventura for 5yrs, i also worked as the bar manager and Dj at the Broncemar( as well as other bars in the town)
It has a good mix of people and i would say 3-4* facilities but with plenty of space for sunbathing and pools for the little one`s and adults alike, the food is of a pretty high standard too and would recommend the all inclusive unless your like me and don`t like to be tied down with times to eat, there our an abundance of good restaurants in the town and nearly everyone who go to Calleta de fuste dine at Fado Rock, a great steak house that also do meat on the stone( meat that cooks on your table, till you have the meat how you like it).
I found the staff at the Broncemar very helpful and forth coming but even staff have there off days...lol the Kiddies entertainers are really good and have something different each day, if your staying 2 weeks, you might get a repeat of the 1st week`s entertainment but the kids won`t mind that. The hotelis in a really good situation too, close to the Town,Beach and buses if you want to travel to the south of the Island or to the Bacu water park or trhe Zoo.
If anyone wants any more information on the Island please do contact me and i will endeavor to assist you .chris_cory@hotmail.com

well where do i start?? I'm not to sure to be honest.... this hotel is a 3* hotel and quite literally i'm not sure how the hotel even gets one star, we had to wait 3 hours 30 mins for our room to be so called clean we had a 18 month baby with us, and left to wait this long for our room, got into our room was FULL of ants everywhere they sent someone to the room with a bug spray to get rid of the ants didn't work so we bought our own stuff, room was filthy, gave us a travel cot for the baby was manky and had mould on it, gave us a towel as the baby's pillow, towels where only changed once in the week, and our sheets done once, pillow cases weren't changed. shower only worked when it wanted to work rang reception 3 days in a row, and on the 4th day the finally sent someone to the room to fix it,pool is absolutely manky, if i can upload the pictures i have i'l upload them, so just an advanced warning. noisy too as in the flight path, but entertainment finishes at 11 o clock every night on the button.

Just arrived home from a week at Broncemar BEach.

We arrived at about 12pm after a 4 hour flight. We booked in at reception by a very rude moody receptionist, to be told that our room wasn't ready and had to wait for an hour until it was. Wasn't very happy as had a 1 year old and a 7 year old that had be traveling for hours and had no sun cream. Went back to reception an hour and a half later to be told by the rude member of staff to stop being impatient.

We finally got into our room 263. There was one bedroom with 2 single beds put together, and the front room was meant to have a sofa bed and a children's pull out bed. The beds was not sofa beds bit just sofas with bedding on top. So my parents had to sleep on sofas for a week. Nog impressive for the amount of money we had paid. There was a little kitchen which was handy.
The bath/shower was neither really. There was a bath with a shower hose in it, no taps which was odd.
There was no air con so had to hire a fan which cost 15€ a week but was worth it.
There was also a TV but you had to pay 1€ an hour to watch it. I wouldn't call that all inclusive.
Wifi was avalible for 30€ for a week. Altough you can't use it in rooms got to go outside.

The drinks were good. Could help your self which was good.

They had free small ice cream for the kids but right next to the big ones which you had to buy.

The food was ok. But towards the end of the week we got a bit bored of it as it seemed to be more or less the same everyday.
There were snakes avalible most of the day.

The pools were a lovely size, and entertainment was around the pool most of the days. They wasn't very clean though as had lots of black bits floating about. My little girl cut her foot in it.
Some of the drains were blocked and had a really bad sick smell.
You have to get up about 5/6am to get a subbed as they are taken very early.

The kids entertainment team were very good with the kids and provided evening entertainment. There was even a little pub on site.

People were letting their kids run riot until 1am. Thery were so noicy they kept waking my baby up. They even thought it was ok to ring our doorbell and runaway at 1am most nights.

The hotel was on a flight path so low flying planes were over most of day.

It's a 5 min walk to beach but not much to do in area.

All in all I wouldn't come back.

Room Tip: Get away from bars
