Stayed here St Patrick's week 2014 with my mother and four sisters. we were a bit dissapointed at first with the reception area very dark and cold. We arrived around 12 o'clock and were told our rooms would not be ready till at least 4 o'clock could not believe it as two of our party were only staying for two nights. We sat by the pool bar and had a drink, at the bar we wanted bacardi and not the local stuff well it was like we ordered liquid gold. Bar staff decided to disappear then for awhile because we needed ice neither to say we did not drink there again. My sister was told that there was no lift in the complex so she asked for a ground floor apartment for her and my mother. She was not told that reception was in the basement and she was given an apartment there she also requested a pool view which she paid extra for well she was below the pool area their apt was dark and they could not pull the curtains during the day as people sunbathing around the pool had full view into their apt. but there is a lift in the main building she asked to be mover and they were two days later. Even though the place could do with a good face lift the apt's were comfortable and clean we had a few incidents with cockroaches but we were given a spray to keep them at bay. Complex based in the center of the resort and not far to the beach. Cheap and you get what you pay for but the bar staff could do with a bit of customer service training hate to see them really busy.

We stayed here for a week over the Easter holidays on a self catering basis. The room was really clean although a bit dated. The beds were comfy and there was enough storage for us (2 adults and a teenager). Amenities in the room were fine, although would have liked a kettle but a pot of water on the stove worked just as well (you can hire one from Reception). There was a safe in the room and it costs 20 euros to hire for the week with 5 euros deposit. Our room overlooked the road (and the karaoke bar) but to be honest the noise wasn't an issue. The staff were friendly and helpful. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there. The cleaners came in 3 times in the week and the towels were changed everytime. Caleta de Fuste is a lovely town with friendly people - would love to go back.

My wife and I stayed here during the first week of April. First impressions of the hotel where good. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, we were to find that at least 95% of the rooms (including ours) had no sun on their balcony ALL day. Even worse for us, we had a metal staircase right outside our balcony which lead to the roof terrace so people walking down this staircase were looking directly into our room. As we were 'self catering' I can't comment on the food. The local island lager is called 'Tropical' and it was served at the hotel bar in nice frosty pint glasses at €3 a go. Happy hour 3-5= 2 4 1. There was a happy hour at night but was never there for it so not to sure of the time for it. Lots of local bars offering great priced pints from €1 and €1.50. We took £ as well as € hoping to find good local exchange rates. The hotel offers €1.05 to the £ but DONT change any there. There is a bar called 'Bar Studs' ( left out of hotel and a 5 min walk will bring you to it) and we got €1.15 to the £. Overall a good weeks holiday where everything for self catering, apart from kettle was provided and room very clean. Oh yeh...our room was 225 so avoid kicking and screaming if you are given this lol.

Room Tip: Enjoy and don't expect anything more than you've paid for

We visited this hotel in March for a week on an all inclusive option, went there not expecting too much as it was cheap mad you get what you pay for.

Check-in > the staff on reception were very helpful and the check-in process was completed quickly (although it was about 8pm)

Room > we stayed on the 1st floor in room 219, facing the pool. The room was a 1 bed apartment which was clean. The bed was quite lumpy but they came and replaced the mattress a few days into the stay. The shower was quite dangerous because there was a towel rail that would hit head on, a step in the shower that was very slippery, and not much room for anyone to have a decent shower (or bath). The curtain on the door was ripped so sometimes let the light in, also in this room, the air conditioning and heating controls didn't work (fell off the wall at one point!). The cleaning staff were good and swept and mopped the floor every few days (including the balcony). The TV in the room you will have to pay to get more channels (but if you only want news then that's free).

Food and Drink > the food was served in the restaurant during the hours 8-10, 1-3 and 6.30-9. It was buffet style. The bread rolls (as you enter the door on left) were nice, the butter was hard in the mornings, and by the evening it had thawed out so was easier to spread. I was ill after the first day, but I don't know for definite if it was the food, or something else that caused it. The pizza and chips during lunch was nice too but wouldn't really trust anything else to be hot.
The drinks were served from 10am-11pm but my partner mainly went for the local spirits instead of the beer (Tropical - light beer and 4.7%, not too bad for a local beer). The cocktails were nice too. They do a really nice Trinidad Dark Rum.

Pool > this gets maintained on a daily basis. If you want to get a lounger, you have to be quick as although there is a notice saying "no reserving loungers with towels", it seems everyone ignores it, so there are loads of empty loungers which have towels on them all day, without people!

The Area > the beach is about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel (to left or straight on from the hotel you will end up at the beach). There is a hypermarket across the road (HyperDino) - it says there is free wifi there but you need to spend over €10 to get the code!
There is a nice cake shop just up from the hotel, which is fairly cheap. There is an Irish Bar called the Step Inn from there.
There is a good tour to Lanzarote (although the bus broke down on the way back!).

Overall the area is ok, there are plenty of places to eat and the weather is fantastic.
