“dreadful hoilday !!!”
Reviewed 24 July 2012

upon arrival everything seemed ok - we were booked in quickly no fuss and was pointed in the direction of the apartment, i went away with my sister and her 2 young children, In the apartment we noticed it was extremley basic, we didnt worry too much the children were tired so we went food shopping and settle for the evening, we noticed the fridge was broken at first which is not good when your self catering, the balcony door had been badley damaged and didnt shut properly you could see some effort had gone into it on fixing it so it would lock, we had 1 tv chanel, there was an open damaged socket in the bedroom, and no fire alarm (The fire alarm had actually been removed from its base) i have taken pictures will i will post aswell - there was no air con when we were told there was, and no microwave which we was also told there was, the ketle and toaster were not on the kitchen surface but placed on a small table by the sofa which again with young children isnt safe! the tap was broken which burnt yor hand every time your turned the tap by - The next morning we went to reception and was greeting by a very rude man, who just brushed us off huffing and puffing - after around 20mins he said he was fully booked which was obviously not the case becuase there was hardly anyone there! he agreed to move us next door which was awful and the back walked onto waste land leaving us no option to accept what we had been given! - we felt cheated and just presumed all the appartments were the same, 2 days before we came home a young girl a couple doors away said we could have a look at hers - she had a fan, microwave brand new kitchen flatscreen tv and was a dream compared to ours, we was so upset that all week we had no air conditioning or fan so at night was awful we hardly slept we couldnt open the windows becuase of feeling unsafe being too youngs girls and the windows opening wide, all of our food went off by the morning so the self catering was a joke! and had to eat out most of the time which we did not budget for! it was an awful experiance and the place was so damaged and very risky to the children, we work hard and didnt expect our hard earned money to be wasted! also sorry to keep going on but i could! dont believe it when it says your close to the beach this hotel is a good 15-20mins walk to all the amenities with children in that heat not good! i hope this helps

Room Tip: make sure you opt for a room that has been re furbished becuase they were lovely

Arrived here for a week, didnt want to put clothes in wardrobe it looked filthy inside. kitchen doors were hanging off, through water damage. Had 2 halogen rings to cook on, no toaster or anything else....separate beds when I'd booked a double. I had chipboard under my mattress and both beds creaked and woke both of us up eveytime one of us turned over in their bed. As before towels werent changed, sheets changed once. Saw maid once. Bath was chipped and there was a sewing needle in the top of the shower curtain. The hems on the patio curtains were hanging loose and trailing. The sofa had us scared it was going to break everytime we sat down. No were not overweight. Had cockroach on kitchen sink on second night.... At the restaurant Chez Moi the cook didnt know how to fillet fish. The shop seemed to open when it felt like it but the high spot was the pool, no complaints there.

Room Tip: Dont go for the elite suites

Booked in here for a week. Upon arrival at 12 was told they had no record of booking and were full. I produced confirmation and was told to come back at 4. At 4 was told they still had nothing available at around 6 told us they found us somewhere. There was no hot water in shower , paint was coming off the batch tub, there were holes in the sheets , cracks in one of the doors even when locked. Even though they said they were at full capacity one of the pool bars was closed and the supermarket was closed. After much complaint we were moved after 3 days . 2nd apartment far superior. The aprtment was cleaned once during our stay and towels were not changed at all. If you are staying here look for one of the newer apts in the front across from reception. The ones down the back are really old and in need of renovation passed by doors with broken glass in the windows. The first apt we were in needed to be done up staright away

Room Tip: Rooms across the road from recption are newer and pool bar there open

Excellent value for money and would definitely recommend it to anyone. I must admit, I was a little unsure about this place after reading some of the reviews but I am glad I followed my instincts.

Situated in a fantastic location, very quiet area but close enough to walk to the bars, restaurants and shops About 15-20 minutes from the beach! really friendly staff who will do anything to help. All 3 Pools lovely and immaculate - What more could you ask for :-)

I was concerned on reading the other reviews about staying here, but I really couldn't have experienced such a different place as described by many. The rooms are huge, big living area, kitchen, separate bathroom, double bedroom. The doors and windows secured fine, after a little fettling and tweaking, I felt safe always.
Peaceful location, reception were excellent, I left my kindle behind realised on the way to the airport, contacted them and it was still under my pillow in the room, they arranged for someone to drop it off at the airport for me, how magic is that. The pool areas are multiple, though it wasn't warm enough paddle. There is a market close by on Saturday I think which is fun for a few bits a tourist tack and haggling. Reasonable walk downhill to centre and the beach, 10-15 mins which was fine for me, but those a little less mobile may find this a challenge,.

stayed here for 1 week in Nov, great location, apartment was very modern, we got one of the newly renovated ones near reception area. beside the beach which is great, small mini-market on site which stocks most things. great restaurants nearby and resonably priced aswell.Staff were most helpful, all in all a good family location.
