The food was disgusting luke warm sometimes not cooked properly and same variety day after day, the chefs were so miserable amd the waiter hovered around your table to take your plate away very off putting. the beds were like sleeping on concrete slabs all needing a make over, i always thought if was the germans who got the sunbeds but not here people were waiting from 7.30 putting towels on the beds and then they would go out for the day totally unfair, there was miminmum entertainment i wouldn't say this hotel was 3 stars plus more like 2stars, the beds are changed once a week, the all inclusive finishes at 12 on day of departure so if you have a night flight you cant get meals or drinks even watered down ones unless you pay to upgrade for the day as they cut your bands off, never encountered this before and definately wouldnt go back

I totally agree with Luceeeee as i did the same read the reviews so did not expect much and was pleasantly surprised. It is a 3 star and therefore expect 3 star and not any more. Food was fine there was always something to eat, i liked that you could pour your own wine, soft drinks and beer in resturant, and could get tea and coffee at any time. Dinner was sometimes a bit bland but nothing to moan about. Very very clean, good shower, lovely sunbathing area up on the roof although yes they do need some parasols as there is no shade and it does get very hot. But for the price a very nice hotel.

Room Tip: Take a few hangers

went with my teenage daughter first week of june, both myself and my daughter had the best time ever, the hotel was very nice and clean the staff were great and very helpful. the food was fantastic and so much of it. The place to sunbath is on the roof top of the hotel as it is not very busy it also has a pool and a bar on the roof, so it saves going down stairs to get drinks.the entertainment is more for the children in the evening, so we went to the disco pubs that was only 10 min walk away, loads of very nice shops. there are 3 beaches the best one is about a 20 min walk away which has a lovely bar in the sea.. as for the weather it was fantastic most days, cloudy and very windy a few days but both of us still got a lovely tan .we will be booking to go next year.

This was a cheap last minute break for us, we paid £300 all inclusive for 7 nights and frankly you get what you pay for!

Check-in was a nightmare, 100 brits all arriving together and only ONE person on reception, took hours for some people. We were around 10th in the queue and it still took over half an hour!

Room: this was a fair size and overlooked a quiet road at the rear of the hotel, room 1027 - I believe this was possibly the best location to be in as the front is above the entertainment area and lobby bar, so fairly noisy at night. Twins beds pushed together, good size wardrobe, bring your own hangers...not enough. Beds were comfortable.

Food: hit and miss! at Breakfast there was a good selection available, Lunchtime there were plenty of salads available, hot food was mainly pizza, chips, sausages. Dinner not so good, sometimes some nice food on offer, others not so nice. We got into the habit of checking what was on offer and then going out for dinner elsewhere - we ate out 4 nights out of 7! We are not too picky with our food and eat most things, but we did struggle here in the evenings.

Main Pools looked nice, but if you wanted a lounger with an umbrella it was necessary to go and sit next to and claim an umbrella before the sun loungers were unchained at 8:30. Each morning we went to breakfast just after 8 and there scattered around the pool sitting next to their umbrellas were lots of moaning brits....
Roof terrace has plenty of loungers, this area is open from around 08:30 and shuts 19:00, the bar up here is open from 11:00 to 15:00 and contrary to the Thomas Cook brochure it DOES serve alcohol. Up here there are 2 shallow pools and 2 Jacuzzis (these come on every hour for 15 mins). There are no umbrellas up here and no real shade, so if you like shade during the day you may struggle, as we did. It would be so simple to provide some shade up here, but the hotel clearly do not want to spend the money. Children under 12 are not allowed on the roof terrrace.
Gale force winds blowing all of the time, I know Fuerteventura means windy Island, but this was more than we expected. Also each morning is cloudy until around 11:00, so be prepared to wrap yourselves up until after 11:00 each morning!

Internet - the hotel has 3PC's, they are in the lobby with no privacy at all. You can pay for wifi, 7 Euros per day or 25 Euros per week! Alternatively, leave the hotel, turn right, walk up the road, past the Aberdeen Angus Steak House and various other restaurants, about 400 metres along on the left you will find a lounge cafe called "The Cave", this place has free wifi, so you just need to buy a drink and ask for the code, then you can use your phone or tablet here. Drinks are very reasonable here too!
Just before you reach The Cave there is a left turn, if you take this and walk past Scotch Corner and keep walking, you will reach the main shopping area and here you will find several restaurants.

The Beach is a 5 min walk, turn left out of hotel, then right, follow road to roundabout, walk across and take first right (just after road train stop). Took us two days to figure this out! Not enough signs about.

If you want to see the Chipmunks, walk down past or through the San Jorge hotel, turn left and walk out onto the headland, they are on the rocks...they love monkey nuts.

Alcohol: All inc finishes at 23:00 hrs, after this all drinks are by one get one free until midnight when the bar closes. Wine was palatable, spirits were ok too. Watch your children as the bar staff here serve young children with alcohol, we saw 12 year olds drinking vodka!

Due to the structure of the hotel everything echoes, kids play area under first floor makes the rooms above this very noisy, do not ask for a room overlooking the pool if you want peace and quiet!

Cleaners do not work Thursday and Sunday - didn't cause a problem for us, we just made our own beds. However, on our last day we tried to keep our room for a few hours longer at extra cost, but they wouldn't allow it as the hotel was full, apparently the cleaners are only employed until 15:00 each day to save money, so with 50 rooms checking out at 12:00 they had an awful lot of work to do in 3 hours! The hotel is very short sighted in this respect and if it is full, then surely they can afford a few more hours for the cleaners??

The Welcome meeting with the rep gave us little local information and was more about selling sun lotions and trips, which was somewhat annoying, also with over 100 people there it was virtually impossible to ask him questions.

In closing I would say that we had a nice holiday, despite the failings of this hotel - a holiday is what you make of it.

Room Tip: ask for a room at the rear of the hotel. Take pegs for your towels!

Myself (19 years old) and my sister (22) stayed here for one week all inclusive- 29th June to 6th July. My sister had stayed in the hotel last year so knew what to expect, however I made the mistake of reading the reviews and expected very little! After staying here for a week I think the reviews are absolutely ridiculous as people seem to LOVE to moan about picky things, it is a 3+ star and you get what you pay for - people expect 5* for the price of a 3.
We arrived around 7.30pm so we had plenty of time to get ready and go for dinner. We thought there was plenty to eat and being a very fussy eater with a fair few food allergies I found something I could eat for every meal.. Varieties of meat, chips, potatoes, salads, pasta, soup, bread and desserts, one night they had a BBQ. I would say the food fitted into a 3*. And always fizzy pop, hot drinks, juice or water available on tap. We never queued for meals once and always got a table.
The rooms were basic but spotless (maids working hard 5 days a week) with clean bath AND hand towels, two single beds, double wardrobe, dressing table, bath/shower, also had a small table with two chairs to sit out on the balcony however we didn't use these as we were hardly in the room.
Alot of reviews moaning about lack of sunbeds, this is true at the main pool as people waiting for over 15 minutes every morning for the sunbeds to be unlocked, however if you don't have kids then the roof terrace is ideal! Enough sunbeds and the best sun with no shade!! We woke early every morning and put a towel on two sunbeds then went for breakfast, everyone did this but there were still empty beds left. The pools were freeeezing but it was great to cool down after being in the hot sun.
We definitely got our moneys worth being all inclusive, we only ate out one night for a change - apart from that we didn't need to spend any money on food or drink.. I agree with the complaints about checking out at 12 when you have a late flight, it was annoying but if you're staying in the resort all day then gets drinks in before 12, or pay the £16 per room to keep the wrist bands. We decided to go out for the day and ate out so it didn't bother us at all. However booking a courtesy room is a good idea to get showered and ready before the flight!! We did this with a man at reception on monday - booking a room for 30 minutes on the day of our flight, so on tuesday night we wanted to check we still had the booking but the woman on reception spoke very little english and told us there were no courtesy rooms for Wednesday.. Then we found out wednesday morning that they DID have rooms but were now booked up! This is my only complaint for the whole week as if she would have listened to us we would have been able to get a room to get showered and ready in properly before the flight, instead we showered in our own room before 12 and changed our clothes in the toilets - which wasn't ideal but everyone that was leaving had to do this.
The staff were very very hard working and cleared tables in the restaurant within seconds and always cleared plates straight away.
The entertainment was mainly for kids and the bar was over crowded - having to get there super early to get a table for a family which many with kids did, however only being two of us we found seats easily and often got a table. The kids disco was on every night for 45ish minutes and regardless of the reviews adults watched the children dancing and I never heard anybody moan. There was almost always a queue for drinks at the bar and only being served two drinks per person was a good way to quickly get it down. If there was no queue then we would both go and get two each to last. The entertainment was boring for about two nights out of the seven but you cannot please everyone! One girl and guy were the main entertainers for the resort (didn't know names), with the guy doing his own show on our last night which was hilarious. The parrot show was absolutely brilliant. If you don't enjoy yourself on a night then its you not them.
The highlight of the holiday was the weather as it was gorgeous every single day, I wouldn't listen to the negative reviews as it is just people being picky and expecting a 5* resort.. We enjoyed it and would happy go again :)

Room Tip: If possible ask for a room facing the pool/not on first floor as the house opposite saw straight int...
