We booked a last minute trip in July 2017 for 9th-16th September 2017. We got a cheap deal and as a family of 3 went for it. Totally in love with Fuerterventura or this part of the island. So quiet and friendly people . I did a vlog of our visit. Thomas Cook were a disaster and we lost our first day but seeing a waiter with wine in reception 9 hours after we should landed proper dropped our defensive guard.
We spent most nights outside at the cabana bar. We did pay for prosecco but were happy as the entertainment was a bit cramped and stuffy in the main bar. But it looked good just to confined for our liking.
Staff were first class. The top floor sun bathing area was nice and quiet with some occasional windy spots.
As always every morning there was the usual fight for beds you always got one but it wasn't as busy mid September but can imagine there would be proper arguments unless since then its been addressed.
Walking around the town is a joy and we are planning next years holiday to the island already. We are going to try the Barcello which we loved by the beach. This is not a 4/5 star but its a great location with get what you pay on the tin service.More
