“Great Location , Great Holiday”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 July 2014

We had a great time at these apartments. We flew with Jet2 for the first time and everything went smoothly. We had paid for a 2 bedroom superior room, for our party of 2 adults and 3 children.
We took the decision to upgrade on arrival to a room with the view of the marina which made our holiday special. The whole of the resort is based around the beautiful marina and having breakfast on our terrace over looking this was well worth the 10 euros per day extra. Traveling with Jet 2 we had unlimited access to the Aquarock splash park which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We went to the splash park 6 times saving 420 euros by being on this deal. Don't wait round for the rep go and see the reception staff, as the deal is with then hotel not Jet2 and they issue you with wrist bands. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day , although basic you cant complain for the money. The location is fantastic and the hotel reps work hard to keep you entertained. All in all a great holiday and would recommend the hotel and the resort for families and couples.

Room Tip: Upgrade if available to the rooms with the view of the Marina for 10 euros a night

Stayed here on 3 separate occasions. Staff are very friendly and cannot do enough to help. Food is fine, can get a bit repetitive but always plenty to eat. Swimming pool area is safe, clean and well maintained. Excellent location, regular entertainment. Apartment are basic but more than adequate for a self catering base. Half board option is very good value for money. Fantastic resort which is family friendly and very cheap. Beach is clean and a safe cove. Excellent reasonably priced family holiday

Just returned from 10 night stay at roc lago. These apartments look gorgeous from outside grounds very well kept. Check in very slow but polite staff. Rooms very very basic and this was the superior renovated room. Very dissapointing.

Toilet repeatedly kept breaking down after reporting this several time hubby sorted this himself. In 10 nights we were there maid service very limited.

Childrens club - didnt appear to be one??

Aquapark good day out went a couple times.

Pool area very slippy and never saw pool cleaned once this is probably the reason my daughter ended up really poorly and had to be admitted to their local hospital. Cant complain on the treatment she received this was perfect better than hospitals at home.

Location very good. 2nd time in cala n bosch would return to resort but would aviod these apartments.

Never again will we be returning to this hotel! Was our fourth time back and every time we have said each time we go back it's gone more down hill. The apartment was very bog standard with nothing suitable for a self catering apartment ie- no bowls, chopping boards, bread knifes, saucepans, oven etc. Constant problems daily, with rude staff who laughed at you when trying to make a complaint, no life guard on pool, broken tiles in baby pool. Entertainment was rubbish. Made many complaints at the desk, wrote email once home and was basically told there were not complaints like ours before we arrived or since we left so must not have been as bad as we had said and that staff laughing at us must have been a mis-understanding on our behalf!! Customer service was terrible. Never again will me and my family be returning to this run down hotel. We will how ever be returning to the area as that was fab and the restaurant staff went out of there way to make you feel happy and welcomed.

The complex is nice. With some great views.. If you upgrade to sea views when you get there. Ours was dark and dingy and looked onto the road.... Which you have to ask for!! The rooms them selves are ok but for self catering apartments they are whoafully under equipped.. No lock on the bathroom door. Only two cups and two.glasses in the room.. We had to aquire some more from the bar. There was no chopping board or knives. We had to fix the frying pan before we used it. The fridge had all the shelves removed including from the door.

Worst of all was the patio. Only way to describe it is as dangerous. It was covered in moss and algae..it was so slippy when it get wet even the maintainance man was slipping when he cleaned...after arguing with the manager to get thus done.

Pool is great..lots of activities for the kids... Great coffee from the Bar. Good beach 5min walk from the hotel.. Excellent food available from the many restaurants on the harbour

We stayed here from 17th -24th May 2014. I was a bit dubious after reading some of the reviews but I had nothing to worry about. Reception staff were very friendly and took all of 5 mins to check in. We were in a 1 bedroom superior (room was 3040), rooms are small but did for myself, my partner and our 2 year old. It was clean but a little cold, once we figured out how to turn off the air con in the bedroom, and put the fleece blankets on the bed (from the wardrobe) it was better. Maid came everyday, cleaned, made the beds and changed the towel daily. I saw a few ants on the balcony but they were never a problem.

We went self catering so can't comment on the food. We prefer to eat out. The med bar is good for snacks and is just underneath the apartments and Chaplins sell British food at good prices so we had lunch at either of those. For dinner I liked Piccolo's and La Fontana, Toro Negro was overpriced and the food wasn't great.

As we were at the beginning of the season the complex was very quiet (more people started arriving nearer the end of our stay) so there was no entertainment until the end of our stay. The pool was clean but OMG was it flippin' cold, things still haven't unshrivelled yet!! Had a fight with my son to get him out as he was shaking so bad with the cold but didn't want to leave the pool. The beach is only about 5-10 min walk away.

I would definitely go back but when my son is a little bit older as I found there wasn't much to do with him. There is a complex and the bottom of the marina (next to Fiesta) that has a pool, slides, fairground rides etc but it hadn't opened yet so have no idea what it was like.

We were with Jet2 and were supposed to have unlimited access to the Aquarock Waterpark but as our rep never came to the resort (we met her at the airport when trying to find our transfer and she gave us our welcome pack as she wasn't going to be in the resort the next day) we went on our last day and paid for the pleasure. More like ripped off!! It is open 10.30-6 and costs 30 euros for all day or 23 euros for a half day, so after paying 46 euros (as under 3's go free) you get charged 3 euros if you use a sun lounger. There is only a small patch of grass at the back that people were sitting on, other than that it is one of the 200 sunloungers. The Waterpark is quite small, one normal pool with Jacuzzi, one wave pool and a kids pool with 3 chutes. There are also 4 big chutes at the back.

Check the other place first (when it's open), it may be better value for money.

The resort is a lovely place, the people were friendly and all the waiting staff were great with my son, taking time to talk to him and playing with him. Katarzyna in La Fontana even fed him his vegetables everytime she past our table, it's the first time he ever cleared his plate lol.
