“Modern Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

Nichteri was recommended as the best Restaurant in Kamari.

it certainly was very good, with the food being more modern than the traditional touristy restaurants along the beach.

However we felt that the attitude was that we should be grateful to eat there, rather than the other way round, which was offputting.

Food very similar to Elia, both in quality and style, but the service at Elia was much much better.

“Would recommend!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 June 2014

We came upon Nichteri by chance, fortunately they had a table and we had a really excellent meal, much better than most of the other restaurants and tavernas we've tried in Santorini. The feta cheese in pastry with honey and figs for starter was fantastic, as was the grape salad, with hazelnut praline in it. For mains, we had pork souvlaki, which was well made and served stylishly, mushroom risotto and the shrimp and couscous dish. Risotto was really good, tasty with fresh large mushrooms. For dessert, we tried the semolina pudding with honey and cinnamon ice-cream, yummy. Good wine recommendations by the staff and really good service. Definitely recommend it.

“Surprising tastes combinations”

I really love this restaurant. Great dishes, nice wine list, excellent service. One daily special would be nice on top of the standard menu for frequent users like me;-)

“Lovely dinner overlooking Kamari Black Beach”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2014 via mobile

Very attentive waiters and good service in a relaxed environment. Had the sausage starter which came with fava and poached eggs which was fantastic. Also had feta cheese with honey. Ouzo pasta was not as good as we have had at other restaurants and the pork souvlaki was nice but difficult to tart up what is actually a kebab. They stocked donkey beer and nice white Santorini wines. Starters were better than mains but overall a lovely dining experience. Good toilets as well. Also more expensive though than other parts of the island where we have eaten similar meals but not over the top prices.

“Delicious food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2014 via mobile

Me and my boyfriend ate there and we really loved the food. The service was really good too, the only thing I can think of is that we had different waiters during our meal and it should be the same one. But as I said, the food was delicious!
