We stayed here in April 2013 for 4 days. The rooms were freshly painted, very well decorated & clean. All amenities(fridge, aircon, TV,wi-fi, etc) were in working condition. The linen & towels were changed on alternate days. We had a nice balcony outside our room with chairs. This used to make a great sit-out in the evenings.

The owners are extremely nice family. They take care of all your needs & give great tips on how to enjoy your stay at Santorini. They go to great lengths to advise on your itenery, arrange for car rentals, etc. We found the suggested restaurants to be excellent choice.

While this hotel is conveniently located from the beach(15mins), it is on a bit steep hill. But being on hill gives a great view of Camari village, beach & mountains. If you are staying at Camari, a rented car would come very handy to move around.

With ample space around the rooms, it is very good for family with kids. There are no frills like swimming pool & gym. The hotel does not have a cafe but free continental breakfast of juice, cakes, sandwiches & tea/coffee is provided everyday. The closest restaurant/mini mart is 5 mins walk.

Overall we liked the hotel & got great value for our money.

Room Tip: Ask for sea facing rooms for great view of village & beach.

Stamatis and Pedro are two of the most friendly and generous Greeks you'd ever meet. They helped us at every turn, from airport pickups to renting a car to laundry. They will not hesitate to give advice about what to do on the island.

The rooms are spacious, well kept, made daily and clean. Absolute value for money. Around the town, one can dive, sight see, visit wineries (an absolute must) etc. Pedro and Stamatis will also give you a ton of places to eat around Kamari and further out if you have a car.

Breakfast includes coffee, juice, an assortment of toast, biscuits, jams etc. definitely enough to fill one's tummy. laundry costs 7 euro per load, cheaper than in the town.

The two bosses, together with their families, greet you warmly whenever they see you and enquire about your day. They are super friendly and welcoming - you feel like you're friends/family rather than guests in a hotel.

In summary, suitable for budget travelers, travelers or couples looking for a quiet place to stay, anyone else in general open to a pleasant stay with a lovely family-owned hotel. It's a guarantee they will take care of you and ensure your stay is amazing.

There is a reason it's called Acropole Sunrise, the sunrises here are absolutely divine. The sun rises over the sea right over an island in the distance and it's a great start for a day in joyful Santorini. The hotel is on a hill just on the edge of Kamari, but for anyone in semi-decent shape the walk down to the town and beach and back up to the hotel should not be a major problem. For longer trips, rent an ATV! Those things are so much more fun than cars! The owner was super friendly and helpful, gave us a short briefing on the spots to check out on the island, good restaurants in the area to suit your taste, and helped arrange the rental of an ATV and a motorcycle. Would recommend to everyone and would stay again if I come back to Santorini.

Room Tip: Any room would work well, as there is a large patio to have breakfast and watch the sunrise in the morning, facing Kamari, and a sitting area for relaxing and watching the other coast and the lights of Thira in the evening.

Fantastic place, great service and run by a lovely family. Clean, good food and great value for money. Really nice owner and son; the son even picked us up when we got lost upon arrival!! Really accommodating and would recommend this as a place to stay to anyone. It is up a big hill though so prepare for a fair walk - that's the only thing you might not expect.

We payed 50 euros i August and got a nice value for the money. Great staff working there, serving an OK breakfast every morning (maybe a little to much sweets, but that's south-European tradition). Rooms are nice, and cleaning is provided every day. The room is situated up a steep hill of 250 meters, it's not a problem, but people should be aware of it.
