When we went down from our hotel to the beach we saw this taverna. One of them is always outside to get people in the restaurant (thats everywhere in kamari) When you want to know some more about the menu he explains it and talks nicely to you (i think thats the best way to get people interested).
The other waiter is always as friendly, he can speak a bit Dutch and he likes it. He really tries!
The food is good and you don't have to pay a lot for it!

We walked past the Balcony Taverna a couple of times and decided to try it one lunchtime. The food was lovely and the staff very helpful - especially Baki and Rodin.
We were staying with extended family at various hotels in Kamari and decided to book a large table in the evening - the restaurant was very accommodating with the children that we had with us and provided them with exactly what they wanted - the children were served first allowing us to feed them before we fed ourselves and all of our meals arrived together, perfectly cooked and hot. (excellent when everyone chose something different from the menu!!)
Definitely recommend this restaurant its not the plushest in Kamari but they certainly make you the most welcome without being pushy like some!!
