Very nice place. Nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly staff. Our room, which was cleaned every day was on the second of three floors (206) at the end of row, so we had pool view and side view to mountain. Breakfast was buffet style, the same each day, but plenty of choice to mix. Hotel 28 is approx 10 min stroll into main area, which suited us fine. if you turn right and then left, this takes you down to the beach, but try going straight on past the church, this takes you to the far end of beach and also past other backstreet bars and restaurants.

The hotel is a lovely retreat. Cheap, calm, chilled out, excellent service, always smile. The pool area is really great. Instead of cheap single sunbeds they have flat double bed leather mattresses with big cushions. Excellent for chilling out, and it gives the area the more exclusive look. The bar area and the plants and trees surrounding the area is also wonderful. A pretty sight soothes the mind :) You can order light food and drinks in the daytime, but it is closed in the evenings (at least in low season). The rooms are simple but nice decorated. There is minibar in the room. The rooms are cleaned every day. The hotel is not far from the airport but the noise from the landing airplanes were not a problem for us, at least not in low season with few arriving flights. Every hotel in Kamari is close to the airport as well.

This hotel was perfect!

Just off the beaten track. All staff were really helpful.

Breakfast was lovely sat in the Greek sun. There is a bar during day that serves drinks and food by the pool. However this isn't open on a night.

Pool was great but we went to the beach every day.

This hotel was a hidden gem, just off the beaten track, so no noise, but close enough to stroll in to the main part and too the beach. Argyro and Laerke were fantastic and there to help with a smile if you needed them, it was so relaxing,

Hotel Boutique 28 is a typical greek 'no frills' hotel with a twist. Only open for two years, it has a modern twist that would appeal to young and middle aged couples. Double bed loungers by the pool (always plenty available) with faux white leather mattresses and pillows. Very stylish, but even more important....comfortable. Small bar serving drinks and snacks until early evening, then a leisurely stroll takes you to the tavernas and shops on the seafront. Pool facing rooms have view of sea (not mentioned in Thomson brochure) with gorgeous sunrises if you are an early riser. Good public services to capital, then on to other towns on island. Car not essential but reasonably priced if needed. Staff are wonderful and put themselves out to make your stay special. When we stayed, ages ranged from mid 20s to early 60s. Not child friendly and boy do they like their concrete.

Two friends and me stayed at Hotel 28 for a relaxing holiday. It was perfect. The hotel was beautiful and quiet (almost no childeren running around or large groups of people hanging at the pool), the food and cocktails were delicious and the staff was the best. Aggiro, Aggelos and Spyros made us feel so welcome that we didnt want to go home.
