I travelled with my two children (aged 11 and 8) and the hotel made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Two great swimming pools - small but never ever crowded. Lovely sun beds and good sun loungers always available.
We had an upgrade to a junior suite which was heavenly - our own jacuzzi on the balcony and a sea view. I couldn't fault anything with the hotel. Everybody was friendly, the staff were fantastic and the food was also good quality and value in the hotel restaurant. Good buffet breakfast. I would highly recommend this place and we will go again next summer.

We new it was newly refurbished and was a little worried that not everything would be finished in time, but we were over the moon when we arrive, Vicky the receptionist made us feel relaxed and welcome as soon as we walked through the door. The room was just brilliant. We lounged around the small but adequate pools, sleeping in the shade as it was hot hot hot. We wondered down the hill to the beach (ask for towels from reception for the beach). You have to pay for the sun loungers on the beach but some are cheaper than others ranging from 5€ to 9€ for two for the day. The beach and sea is so clean, I'd suggest buying some beach shoes as it's hard getting in and out and the black sand is hot. Eating and drinking can be expensive on the sea front however, next door to the hotel there is a really good and cheap, the cheapest best restaurants are on the hill from the hotel. The mini bar in the room is around the same price as you'd pay in a bar, but we bought water and put them in the fridge. We also highly recommend you rent a quad for 24 hrs we toured the whole island, we also did the traditional boat trip at sun set which was lovely just 8 of us. Overall it was an amazing week I've never been some where that I've felt as safe walking round as I did there. Can't wait to return will rebook this hotel.

Room Tip: We managed to get the superior double which was just perfect for the two of us.

My new husband and I stayed at Cavo Biano for about a week towards the end of June, so this review is long overdue. We immediately found the entire staff to be very friendly and welcoming. Our luggage did not arrive in Santorini when we did, so the staff volunteered to call the airport as many times as we wanted to check the status of our bags (which luckily came the next morning. Another plus here is the 10 min drive to the airport since we had to go and fetch our luggage).

The rooms are a good size, very clean, and airy. The continental breakfast was also incredible! I have had other European continental breakfasts that consist of MUCH less so we were pleasantly surprised. We were also impressed that the breakfast was offered until as late as 10:30; in many hotels they close up shop much earlier.

We loved the location of the hotel, because it wasn't right on the beach, yet it was extremely close. Walking along the boardwalk, we noticed that the pool-goers at the hotels along the beach had almost no privacy. The two pools as Cavo Biano were very private! The hotel is also a very short walk from the bus stop (coach buses with A/C) to get to to Fira or Oia.

The two "bartenders," Orestis and Dimitris (I use quotes because they actually do much more than tend bar) were very friendly as well.

I would absolutely recommend Cavo Biano to anyone looking to stay near the beach in Santorini; we both felt so lucky to have found this place!

Room Tip: 124 was the master suite, I believe. It's huge! It overlooks the bar/breakfast area with its t...

Both my Girlfriend and i LOVED this hotel...

Never been to the Greek isles previously and had no Idea what to expect from the place, the people or the hotel.

What we wanted was a place where we could soak up the sun and de-stress, somewhere that had a comfortable, romantic feel whilst being a bit boutiqe-ey and with some mod cons. We also wanted to be close to some night life and a beach.......Not a lot to ask for right? lol

Within hours of arriving we decided we were in Paradise. We had found a simply fantastic little hotel close to everything we would need for the two weeks. We had picked the perfect place to relax and enjoy what Santorini had to offer.

The bedrooms are Minimalist. Stylish and concise with plenty of room and always impeccably kept by housekeeping. The beds and pillows were out of this world as was the air-conditioning which was definitely needed. Wireless internet throughout and a large wall mounted flat-screen TV are there for the tech savy....just bring a usb full of movies and you are laughing.

Waking up in the morning, you are greeted by a seemingly never ending supply of fresh breakfast delicacies from fruit, toast and cereal to cooked eggs and bacon and a few Greek special items too, all prepared by the indefatigable and charming young chef xristos who went out of his way to make us an extra special breakfast one morning.

There are two small pools perfectly sized for the hotel and beautifully thought out with four post outside beds and underwater fairy light effects at night-time.

The Best thing for both of us were the staff: Vicki who welcomed us warmly and was very professional but couldn't belie a cheeky nature.

Giotta (pronounced Yotta) our Prigibissa, also on front desk was so helpful and friendly and an absolute pleasure to talk to...a real lovely human being with a heart of gold..

And then there were Legendary Dimitris and the young ninja of pool shots Orrestes(sorry don't know how to spell it) , were both the friendliest, funniest and yet hard-working barmen/waiters i have ever known. Always happy to help and often were happy and willing to go above and beyond to make our stay fun and happy.

All in all i cant recommend this lovely place enough and i cant commend and thank the people who work there and without whom our holiday would not have been half as good.

Thank you Cavo Bianco

We had a great time, but it's a 4-star, not a 5-star hotel. It's only a few months old so everything has that lovely "new" feel. The lobby and pool areas are beautiful and comfortable. The rooms are going for that white chic minimalist style that one tends to associate with a Greek Isle. However, the rooms are missing the nuances that give the rooms class or character. The sheets are stiff and the blankets are the furry fleece variety and aren't covered with a second sheet. The hotel should extend its style from the common spaces to the rooms and upgrade the linens and toiletries. The service is friendly, but not seamless the way it is at 5-star hotels.

We stayed for three nights and for our first night we were upgraded to a suite. This was obviously a sweet gesture, but the suite had a set of slippery stairs between the bed and the bathroom. The stairs didn't have a night time light setting so we had to turn on the main lights to avoid an accidental injury (and we're in our 30s!). I also don't like changing rooms mid-stay because it's always a hassle. We packed up our suitcases and then when we checked out of the suite, our room wasn't ready yet. It also had two twin beds pushed together. The hotel did fix this by remaking the two beds into one with foam and sheets. However, Cavo B, you should upgrade guests for their entire stay or at least make the room change seamless.

Breakfast is a fresh buffet and it was delicious. It would be good if it was offered until 11am--I like to sleep later on my beach holidays. Also, the staff should be more responsive to providing coffee if they didn't want me helping myself.

The pool area was beautiful with comfortable cabanas and nice towels. The pool was small but beautiful and it glittered at night.

The hotel is in a great location--about 5 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants.

The hotel transfer from the airport was €20 which was aggravating because it's a 10 minute drive. However, we learned that everyone charges tourists €20 to go anywhere on the island which we thought was wrong. The taxi the hotel arranged for us was €20 from Kamari to our next hotel in the cliffs and the driver picked up some random local on the way. The random guy paid €5 and we still had to pay €20... Completely infuriating!

Anyway, overall we feel like the hotel was a good pick for the price even though it fell a bit short of expectations in some areas.

Amazing is definitely an understatement. From the moment we arrived to the day we left, the service has been immaculate. This is the best place to stay if your in Santorini. We were given a map and an overview of things to do on the island which came in handy. We were able to plan ahead which saved us time to also relax and enjoy the company of the staff, pool and bar. If you have a question the staff are always willing to help.
We will definitely be back!

We stayed at this hotel for a week in late June 2014 and both feel we found a real Greek gem.
The welcome the hotel team gave us on initial introduction and repeatedly whenever they saw us was second to none we have experienced before.

The overall cleanliness and attention to detail was excellent, as was the food at breakfast and cocktails experiments by the pool, delicious.

A great location with numerous really interesting restaurants within easy reach and a short walk to Kamari beach, made for a brilliant vantage point.

The excursions that we tried were easily arranged and exactly what was outlined as available, all set-up for us by the great reception team.

Even though we seldom ever go back to the same holiday destination twice, with regards to our stay @ Cavo Bianco, we made the right choice this time for our first visit to Santorini and we probably would consider going back there.
Definitely a first for us!!

Room Tip: We would certainly opt for one of the more luxurious rooms with a spa bath towards the rear of the h...
