We stayed here for a week in May 2013. Our travel agent, Xenofon of Kivotos Travel Agents booked this hotel for us as we stayed one month in Greece. Its a great hotel in a wonderful location. We had a room at the back of the hotel and it was a good size, with a verandah, nice shower with comfy beds and quiet. The breakfast was excellent and we also had a couple of tasty lunches around the pool, which is large and nice for swimming. We found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful as they booked us a car and we did a few tours, the sunset dinner cruise was a memorable day, a must do tour as was the Santo Winery visit. It was our first time holidaying in Greece from Australia and don't hesitate, book your holiday, the Greek people are very friendly and welcoming.

Room Tip: We were very happy with our room at the back of the hotel. We were not interested in pool views, but...

Just got back from spending a week bed and breakfast at the Kamari Beach Hotel. First impressions were good although we had to wait for half an hour while the room was cleaned. Once in, the room was in typical Greek style with the usual poor drainage in the bathroom, although it was clean and tidy and did have free air conditioning. Cleaning staff visited once a day to make the bed and towels were changed once during the week but there was no evidence of any further cleaning.
The hotel seemed to be well run and the pool was great, larger than any we saw in any other hotel in the area. Breakfast (typical european style meats, cheese and fruit, attempt at scrambled eggs and bacon but don't touch it - not that nice) was between 7:30am and 10am which forced us to get up at a sensible time to enjoy the whole day. Weather was fantastic and the hotel is right on the beach so if you fancy a dip in the sea you don't have to lug all your stuff around. Word of warning to those that have never been to this area of Santorini (or Perissa), the beach if a mixture of black volcanic sand and stones and gets very hot during the day. It's also not that easy to walk on when you go into the sea.
Pool bar was reasonably priced compared to some locals restaurants and bars.
Safe in room costs 1.50€ per day.
Overall, a nice hotel.

Room Tip: A room at the rear of the hotel is quieter and doesn't get the sun all day so stays a bit cooler...

On booking into the hotel we were booked into an old room with very antiquated beds, cupboard, bath etc - almost antique. A complaint to the reception was basically brushed off so I had to call my travel agent. Within 3 mins we were given a new room, much nicer so our hotel experience, after a crappy start, became a very good one.
Great pool, good breakfast and nice people in the servers areas.
Reception staff are quite lax.
The wifi is also pretty crappy and you have to find the right spot to get service.
But the beach, pool and bar make up for the other stuff. Have stayed in much worse.

Room Tip: Ask for a newer room, not in the back section.

Location was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms spotlessly clean. The pool was great and the resort has it's own private beach (although be it rocky). A great place to stay for a relaxing holiday.

We stayed in the Kamari Beach Hotel for 2 weeks for my wedding in Santorini. We paid extra to upgrade to a superior room with a pool view - we didnt really get this when we arrived, fairly disappointed with the room, wouldnt have minded if we hadnt paid extra for superior. It didnt overlook the pool only a small side one that was more of a water feature. The hotel will move you however to better rooms if you ask, we didnt as to be fair we dont spend any time in the room on the holiday.
They were very clean, the cleaners are amazing and really went above their duties with our room!.. Bathroom is quite small but does the job, the balcony was nice with a lovely view of the mountain in Kamari.

However the part by the pool was absolutly beautiful, overlooking the sea and with a lovely bar right next to the pool it was perfect. Lovely tree's and little shaded areas and more than enough sunbeds. We never had to get up early to get any, although i imagine peak season may be different. The staff there were fantastic and very helpful. Nicoleta the lady behind the bar was amazing, as were the other guys! :). It was very clean everywhere in the hotel and the pool was huuggeee!!......... Biggest in Kamari and really clean and very inviting on hot afternoons.

The location of the hotel is perfect aswell, on the strip right on the sea by all the resturants, taverna's and shops. We all loved it. Santorini is generally pretty pricey so expect to pay a little more than normal.
Prices in the hotel were around 3-4 Euros for Mythos and cocktails are around 8-10 Euros. Toasties are about 2.50 and chicken and chips, pizza, pasta etc range from about 6-10 Euros.
The whole resort is absolutly beautiful., You will have a great time in this hotel.

Returned yesterday 4th June 2013 from a 2 week stay at this hotel. Absolutely gorgeous, very large swimming pool, overlooking the sea, lovely breakfast area and very friendly staff. Kamari is lovely and lively for all ages and there are some lovely restaurants and bars to choose from. Greek people are very friendly and and the waiters and bar staff made the atmosphere very calm and relaxed....A big hello to Nicolette pool bar and Yannis and Pavlos waiters, they were very friendly to us and made the holiday. We went for our daughters wedding and we were all sad to come home. ~Thanks guys
