a little hit and miss when it comes to room size we had rather a small room not big enough for self catering better if kitchen was removed and let as room only. the bulk of travellers who stayed here seemed mainly back packers and this place seemed ideal for that .the room price seemed very reasonable compared to others in the area very nice and clean swimming pool. but as it seems room sizes vary a lot. pot luck as to what room your get but saying that kamari is a very nice place and will return .

Just had two weeks at Sideris. Friendly and well run. Rooms were a nice size and typical Greek. Everywhere was kept nice and clean. Pool and surrounding area was lovely. However, the location was on a main road in to Kamari and the noise from traffic was dreadful. If you want a quiet day around the pool forget it. We opted for beach. Kamari is a nice resort with lots of places to eat and have a drink. The only sour note for me is the persistent pressure one has to endure from restaurant owners/workers to dine at their restaurant - really got on my nerves. Also, the comments, looks, my 17 daughter and her friend got from the above made me feel sick. Truly dreadful behaviour, never had this in Corfu or Skiathos.
Thomson rep Stacy was really nice and helpful. Santorini is a lovely island and we had some great days out.
Apart from the dreadful restaurant owners we had a great time and Sideris is a nice place to stay apart from the noisy location. Julie, Andrew London.

We were supposed to stay at another hotel, but we ended up here by accident and we couldn't be happier! The hotel is centrally located, but still quiet so you can relax and rest. Sideris and his wife were great hosts! Excellent service, quality, and price. Highly recommended!

Me and my mum stayed here for one week, we were made to feel very welcome from day one. Relaxing holiday, very laid back. Bars and restuarants very close by, plenty to chose from.
We stayed in a studio for two, very clean and spacious with a big balcony.
We would recommed these apartments if you want a chilled out holiday!

I was traveling with my 22 year old daughter. I booked accomodations in Fira. Upon arrival there, I was sick..... The place smelled like a sewer. Onto the ipad... reading trip advisor reviews....we selected Sideris Sunflower Villa and luck was on our side, they had a room for us...and we moved!
We arrived early in the morning and were immediately made to feel welcome. The room was large, very clean, safe vibe......the location was perfect....quick walk to the black sanded beach....and zillions of restaurants and shops. We did not spend much time at the property as we were on tours or at the beach..but what time we did spend there was perfect....calm.
The accomodations were real, authentic, honest, and the owners took pride in the property....always working and cleaning!
Early check in..late check out...they were definitely accomodating....and without attitude.
Music at the bar was a bonus..when was the last time you rocked out to Simon and Garfunkle...we danced:)!

Room Tip: Wii Fi was only outside..not in the rooms

Our hosts Sideris and his lovely wife, not to mention Gregory and George made us feel so welcome, they couldnt do enough for us on arrival and right throughout our holiday. We were treated to some home-made cookery courtesy of Mrs Sideris which was delivered to our room for when we arrived back from a trip which was a lovely touch and quite unexpected. In our apartments, the Kitchen was ample for what we needed and the bedroom was airy and had plenty of room, as was the bathroom, we were extremely delighted with the apartments as a whole. We had a lovely view of the beautifully clean pool in which the owners were very proud of and kept this to a very high standard for their guests, the surroundings of the villa were beautiful and it is a very picturesque location. The hosts were always attentive to our needs and provided a well stocked bar service which in which we frequented every night, sometimes plates of complimentary fruit and donuts which were delicious were brought out, as we chatted away into the early hours of the morning with lovely people we met from England prior to dinner and after when we returned from the town, it became a nightly ritual. We were always assured of a friendly face to greet us, Sideris, Gregory or George would usually sit with us all. The whole setting had a feel to it that made you instantly relax and unwind, it felt like one big family. Stacey the rep was friendly and always on-hand if you needed anything - not that we did. On the last day we were not wanting to go home, we have great memories, lasting friendships and yes we will be returning again without a doubt.
