It is very interesting to see how they grow the grapes in a Desert climate in San Torini so that the grapes dont die from dry heat. This boutique Winery produces some terrific wines and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that the grapes grown in San Torini are indigenous to the island and other world varietals are not grown here. You will not find Chardonnay, Savignon Blanc, Merlot, Pinot Gris, Cab Sav nor Zinfandel but some rather unique varietals only found in Greece! A great side trip!

A small vinery that has been in production for a little over 15 years. The host was very knowledgeable and quite charming. The wine tasting sessions were excellent.

Right by the beach, so an amazing experience

Thanks Phenix from Safowi tours for bringing us here, very nice relaxing visit by the sea side. Wine is very good...too bad they do not ship to Canada...

It is easy to find - you can't miss it. The winery offers a tour at the winery and a wine tasting of 4 locally made wines for the price of 5 EUR per person. They produce only 100.000 bottles as they QUALITY is very important to them. They only produce white wine here in Santorini due to the weather and wind. Our guide, Konstantina was extremely knowledgeable and we enjoyed her presentation.

The location is amazing, right on the water and it has a pool (ask about the history of this place - very interesting). We were provided with a thorough description of the wine-making process, which if you don't know much about wines can be helpful. We were the only ones there so we had very personal service which meant we could learn about the age of their vines (hundreds of years old) and how they grow the grapes differently than in other regions of the world (think basket). I tasted 4 wines (2 whites, 1 rose and 1 red) as well as their vinegar. The Assyrtiko and the rose were quite nice, though I did not like the red. I was surprised by their vinegar (flavour was somewhere between regular vinegar and balsamic) - I imagine it would be good with some olive oil on a nice green salad). Overall well worth a visit!
