What a fantastic place to stay. Staff wonderful and very helpful with booking various transfers for sons wedding guests. Close to beach yet very quite. Breakfast all you can want. Fridge and cooker in suite if needed and balcony for all suites if you wish to eat in. Maria x2 and Spiros deserve special mention. Nice touch with free afternoon snacks around pool and the odd taster drink

What can I say that hasn't already been said about Kalya Suites? We booked 4 rooms as part of a wedding party in late May 2018 and we loved every minute of our stay. My wife and I had stayed here before so we knew what to expect but everyone else was extremely impressed, including those who were visiting us while staying elsewhere in Kamari!! From the cleaning/breakfast ladies to the barmen Spiros and Raphael, Maria the manageress and especially Maria the owner the customer service was superb. The rooms - with free air-con and security box - the location - peaceful but only 50 yds from the sea front - and the little extras - such as robes/slippers, toiletries and mid afternoon snacks served free around the pool was the icing on the cake. My daughter's wedding was one of the best days ever and our stay at Kalya Suites simply added to that experience. Simply the best!

We stayed in Room 3 for a couple of nights at the end of May 2018. Our room was spacious for just 2 people, we had an extra two beds available had we traveled with our family. Our room had a nice private porch, large walk in shower, and a kitchen area with fridge, range, and plates/cups included. The pool area was nice and quiet. Breakfast was included which is a nice touch!

The hotel is 10-15 minutes away from the airport on Kamari Beach. The street to the beach and restaurants is right around the corner from this hotel. Lots of good restaurant options for lunch, dinner, and drinks. A couple places i recommend Soul by Splash - on the corner and seats available for beach, Alismari down the street.

The bus station is a 5-10 minute walk from Kalya Suites, 3 blocks away. For under 2 euro each way you can get around Santorini and visit the more touristy areas of Oia and Fera. Everything connects to Fera first, if you are moving to other stations from Kamari Beach.

I would recommend the Kamari Beach area for anyone looking to avoid the large crowds of the cities. The restaurants were significantly less crowded and the price differences were eye opening.

Room tip: Ask for a suite with a pool view

We stayed in room no6 for a week at the end of May 2018. A friendly welcome on arrival with a lovely introduction to the place by Maria.

Our luggage was carried up to our room and we were escorted by the owner, Maria. We were given a full briefing of the room and how everything works.

We were so grateful to have been allocated such a large room, large walk in shower and a very large balcony on the front of the first building which gets the sun all day long! Perfect.....a view of the sunrise too!

The breakfast was plentiful and had a good variety. I must admit to taking a liking to the sandwich maker, (you remember them, we all have owned one in our lifetime!) so quick once I realised to turn up the heat! :) Lovely filter coffee available and a large selection of teas and fruit juices.

Last but not least, the people who run the place. The Maria’s were great hosts and the team at breakfast who doubled up to service the rooms too were lovely and very efficient at what they do. I didn’t catch the gents names at the bar who were always on hand to help with anything and were friendly too.

As other people have said on the reviews of Kayla Suites, “nothing is too much trouble” and always with a smile. :)

Thank you guys. Yamas!

Darren & Angie :)

Beautiful hotel, with a great location! We were maybe a block and a half from the beautiful black sand beach in Kamari!
The room was clean and spacious! The staff was super attentive and were willing to do whatever asked!
The lady’s who take care of the breakfast area even went above and beyond to create an additional fruit salad for us at the end of the breakfast service!
The only downside, the bed was terribly hard! I imagine our housekeeper was a little surprised when she pulled back out bedding and found a couple of lounge chair cushions under it!! Whatever works, right?
I would return to the Kalya Suites, as long as they still have the chair cushions handy!!
