Me and my husband just got back from a 10 day break on the 26th October from this fantastic hotel. On our first night we had a walk down the main strip and we both thought what have we done.....we expected tumble weed to come rolling down the road. With it being at the end of the season most of the resort was closed leaving only a few bars and shops open......but it turned out to be one of the best holidays we have ever had. The local people were lovely and friendly. Now to turn this review to the hotel....only bad point was the flies and wasps early morning round the pool areas but as long you didnt leave fizzy pop laying around they tend to leave u along. Hotel Margarita serves brilliant food catering for all tastes, it comes to something when even the salad tastes good. All the food was fresh, tasty and hot. The table allocation on arrival for mealtimes was a bain in our lives..table 39...which we never sat at due to another couple been allocated the same two seated table, but it wasnt all bad, Margarita sorted us out every time. The staff in the hotel were very friendly especially Debbie and Brian, we even got invited to two greek weddings that took place in the hotel during our stay which was very enjoyable. We had a family room which was spacious and our balcony looked over the gardens. The room was very clean. Back to the pools. There are two pools, one adult pool at the front of the hotel which we tried and to be fair if it was far too quiet for us so we joined the families at the other pool at the back of the hotel. What fun we had...Claire and Ellie (Entertainers) orgainsed games throughout the day including pool volleyball which my husband joined in and he still says that claire was cheating.....lol. We booked the holiday with first choice/thomson and our reps Jamie and James were both brilliant but sadly there will not be there next year as this hotel has now moved to thomas cook.

We meet some very special people whilst on this holiday, especially a couple from Brighton. It was a sad day when the coach arrived to take us back to the airport. Would we go back to this hotel........a big fat YES. Hopefully we will back next May.

Me and my husband and 2 children 4yrs and 18 mths stayed at this hotel 19th/26th october and had the best holiday ever! The room we stayed in was amazing and was cleaned every other day, the food was excellent (always something new to try and fresh) and we loved the entertainment! Ellie and Clare worked so hard and my our children liam and Ella loved the kiddie disco. I also enjoyed the bingo which I won €98 altogether on! Everyone was so friendly and we made lots of new friends too! See you all next may! Zoe and Rob

what can i say that hasnt already been said?
just come back today from the margarita not one of us wanted to leave.
The staff all need to be commended for their service and friendliness everybody worked so hard our hugs go out to the pool lady who is pregnant but put in long hours making burgers and mixing drinks .
The food was tasty and always fresh nothing frozen or tinned. try the beef in pepper sauce wow , went for seconds and the tray was licked clean before i got there. the soups were so tasty and the salads crisp and fresh.
our rep jamie what a star that young lad was .
Saved the best untill last ellie and clare our entertainment staff . Those two girls worked so hard every day learned our names and our 16 year old son jack got extra hugs when we left , these girls managed to have the whole hotel guests start the holiday as strangers and by the end we we had found a 100 new family members. well done to all and see you next year

Me and 3 girlfriends were searching for ages for somewhere to go and we came across this hotel, was a bit skeptical at booking but went for it. We arrived and all thought ugh what have we done.... But by the night and the next day we realised that this was gunna be an epic holiday! The food is absolutely amazing and Margarita and her family/friends really do take care of you. I will say that if your after a lively hotel and rowdy entertainment this is not the hotel for you and they really don't like a lot of noise but if you want to go on the strip and then have a nice quiet hotel to come back to its ideal! We spent most of our holiday around the family pool as the adult pool was just too quiet for us.

Room Tip: There are old and new rooms, we had a old room and it was fine but apparently the new rooms are pure...

Hotel

Upon arrival we were greeted by Margarita and her staff and we were booked in and shown our rooms. Our room was basic, but it had everything you needed; tv, shower, bed, toilet, somewhere to hang your clothes etc. The tv worked for a few days. Then we lost the picture. No great loss to us because we only had it on late at night just before we fell asleep. The tv was fixed the next day. Very prompt and swift reaction from the tv being reported to it being fixed.
The staff were always courteous and nothing was too much trouble. The pools were kept clean and tidy at all times. The food selection at mealtimes was excellent, we never ate the same thing twice, if you have a limited palate then don't go All Inclusive, SIMPLES.
The snacks at the pool bar were the usual, cheeseburger, chips, tuna/cheese/ham/egg/salad rolls, hot dogs plus ice-cream for 12 and under.

My only bugbear is that in technical age, the hotel didn't have Wi-Fi access. There are 3 PC's provided at the cost of 1 Euro for 10 mins

Entertainment.

What can I say about Clare and Ellie that hasn't already been said on here. They tried to get everyone involved, kids, parents, grandparents, couples. If you didn't want to join in then it wasn't a problem, there was always tomorrow.

Killer Darts
Killer Pool
Giant Darts
French Boules
Table Tennis
Football
Aqua-robics
Water Volleyball
Water Polo

And that was just during the day, in the evening they did another program

Kids Disco (including big kids haha)
Cash Prize Bingo (including some very dubious number rhymes Clare)
Certificate Presentation for those that had won the games during the day (followed by a compulsory celebration dance) those are the rules of participation hahahaha.
Followed by the evenings main entertainment. This changed every night, these girls can both sing, Ellie's Amy Winehouse isn't cringeworthy as one poster put it, it is a tribute to Amy not a copy.
Both of these girls are an asset to the hotel and would be a huge factor in us booking again for next year.

First Choice rep Jamie was excellent, organised extra pillows for us on the first night and always seemed to be there when I needed him. We booked a trip and later changed our minds to another one and he changed it over no problem.

All in all this was everything we wanted from our holiday and much much more.

Would we recommend The Margarita Hotel?

100% YES
