Located 2km's from the (sadly) dying Cavill Ave, "Aloha Lane" is a treat in every regard. Great management. Lovely grounds. A heated pool with a spa & bbq facilities. I've stayed here many times with family and friends, and this trip was with friends to see St.Kilda play the new Gold Coast Suns (Saints won!). Main Beach is more exclusive than other parts of the Coast, so there are no riff-raff staying here. The units are cozy & it is easy to settle in '"at home". just 100 metres to the beach, and around the corner from Tedder Ave. Main Beach is sort of the "Toorak of the Coast". Easily the best part of staying here is away from the drunken yobbo's that frequent Broadbeach and Surfers. Our balcony over looked the pool and the lush grounds and i cannot fault this place at all. A quick stroll along the beach road takes you to the Soutport Surf Life Saving Club. meals are your common pub fare, but quite huge. Every time we come here though, we go to the Southport Workers Club for ultra cheap food & drinks.
