We come to ribs and rumps often and usually the ribs are tender and juicy.
This weekends experience the ribs were disappointing as they were undercooked! The chef advised they come in pre-cooked but he agreed on inspection that they were undercooked.
My husbands Caesar salad with chicken, fries and onion rungs were all excellent.

Thank Laura R

First visit to Ribs And Rumps and was pleasantly surprised firstly by the friendly welcome from Chris and the excellent service from our waiter Isaac, nothing was too much trouble. The steak and ribs were delicious as we're the sides, such an extensive menu to choose from especially the desserts, so many temptations, the sticky date and sundae were delicious. Will not hesitate to return.

We always end up here when we want to get a good meal, great view kind of a day. Ribs and baby potatoes are always cooked to perfection. We, most of the time share a rack and we always leave satisfied. Service is sometimes a bit of a hit and miss but we don't normally book and dine on weekdays.

Melbournians dining with locals. Walking through Marina Mirage on a weeknight, most restaurants were packed. R&R tucked away facing Palazzo Versace. Great fitout; place was pumping.
When we arrived they'd already ordered a Pinot Noir - a tasty drop but at $54 it would want to be.
Menus arrive. Friendly waitress who was happy to explain the fare on offer.
We all chose pork ribs....... boring! Some full ($49) and others half rack ($35). Ribs come with French fries or baked spuds.
Paper bibs, bowls for bones are brought.
Ribs arrive. The Colonel from Kentucky would have been proud .....finger lickin' good.
Meat was so tender,it was like Hoovering it off the bones. A handful of chips to accompany. Ribs placed ON TOP .... made them soggy. Why??
Messy tucker. Finger bowls would have been welcomed (although wipes were provided). One at the table had to visit the bathroom for a handwash mid-way.
"Her Indoors" ordered a Greek salad instead of carbs.
After the first bottle of wine, we decided to have a glass of Shiraz. Phew...........nearly $13 for a Pepperjack.
Meal was good but from my point of view was a bit soured because of the prices.
Obviously we're not used to paying these rates for ribs and wine down South.
