“Tastless take away medley”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2014

Restaurant in small shopping centre. Covered outdoor area with clear roll down cafe blinds to protect you from elements. Dark when I arrived - no lights on in the area - diners where sitting in the dark. The area is bounded by busy car park so you have parking bays on two sides and cars driving by throughout your meal. Interior decorated as you'd expect - nothing outstanding. Greeted by a pleasant lady who stopped mid-way through serving me though to re-arrange restaurant seating to accommodate a party of 10 who'd turned up without an appointment, leaving me standing there with my EFPTOS card still in the machine. Staff not smartly dressed and appeared disorganised. Ordered take-away. Vegetable spring rolls, seafood green curry, stir-fried veggies and a chilli basil tofu. No dedicated vegetarian category on the menu - just the heading 'vegetables'. Spring rolls crisp but filling mainly gluey cabbage. Seafood tough, swimming in a watery sauce with a few greens. Stir-fry veggies consisting mostly of bok choy stalks - overcooked. Tofu dish indistinguishable in taste and appearance with miniscule cubes of soy, no hint of chilli, basil overpowering and both quite salty. Order arrived quite quickly. Ate the spring rolls, picked out the seafood, tofu and best of the veggies - rest was inedible. In a word. Extremely disappointing. That's twice now and I won't be back.

“Terrible poor food”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 April 2014

Dont waste your money here. I ordered tom kha soup which was pretty average. The chicken wings entree was cold and dry and the chicken larb was the worst i have ever had the unfortunate experience to try. It was the most poor thai food i have ever had. I have eaten in a thai restaurant in Dahab, Sinai, Egypt, which was amazing, where ingredients are not the best. So this just shows that the chef here cannot cook and should stick to fish and chips. Disgusting

“By far the best Thai food on the northern end of the Gold Coast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 March 2014

I have been to this restaurant many times, always heading for this restaurant when friends and visitors mention that they like Thai food.. While it is quite near to home I drive past three other Thai restaurants to specifically go to this one for the delicious food. This is a small restaurant with friendly staff.

Totally agree with other reviews ... this B.Y.O restaurant is excellent value for the money ...

“Don't Bother.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 January 2014

We got take away from there in January 2014, the service was fairly good, we ordered too orders of Pad See Ew. We took our food home and it was tasteless and mushy, we were unimpressed. We were going to continue eating it, until there was a rubber-band found in one of the meals. We returned the meal and it turns out that they don't actually cook this dish at the restaurant, it turns out that they buy it pre made and reheat it in a pan when you order it.

“Excellent Food, Good Prices”

We have been to this restaurant many times. It is quite near to home. We have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and we have been through most areas in the menu..
Have tried roti in other restaurants but it has not been as good as theirs. Stir Fries and Curries equally a good.
A good value B.Y.O restaurant, worth the 15 minute trip if you are staying in Surfers. Good ambience, quieter and very near the Broadwater for a stroll after Dinner.
