We were treated by Family members to this exclusive Private Game lodge experience on our recent visit to SA. The lodge and facilities were really very nice, few small things about the lodge itself, but nothing to really get upset about, the location is good, lots of bush-pigs all over the place, lots of different buck species, but did not manage to see any of the other elusive ones, rhino, buffalo, etc. Weather was absolutely gorgeous, and we sat around the fire every night watching the stars, what a great breakaway. The local restuarant served really good food. It is well worth it to pay them a visit and experience some of the local cuisine.
The main pool and shop facilities need a bit of updating, missing paddles for table tennis, broken pool cues etc. Swimming Pool looked quite clean and well maintained. Local Shop has most of the basics you would need. They have some beers and wines available as well as fire wood and most necessities.

Park is facilities are very basic and an expect a guide that speaks non stop whilst you are trying to enjoy watching the lions feeding in their enclosure.

Enjoyed staying in the perfectly situated and accomadated privately owned sunset lodge Mabqalingwe. Outstanding views overlooking the reserve from which we saw numerouse wildlife including elephant, The infinity pool ov erlooking the reserve was amazing as were the gin and tonics served in it. We organoised our own safaris as had big landrover discovery - and saw all of the big 5 except Leopard. We saw loads of disserebnt game here and coinsider that we were very luck as these things can't be booked. The corperate night safri was disappointing - but again these animals can't be booked. Amazing time
