I do love this place. The position is fantastic, right on the lake with a private terrace, a private parking in the garden, and they managed also to have a nice pool, in the garden too.
The main building is a modernist architecture overlooking the lake, in an amazing position, most of the rooms with lake view have terraces with design beds to relax, they have some annex overlooking the garden so ask well when you make your reservation, they will tell you what you can get.
My room was simply great.
Big, furnished with design pieces, every detail well kept.
Very big terrace, right on the water.
The hotel is run by a special family, Stefano and wife are passionate by design and you can find there a real kind of design museum since tyne have furnished the hotel with all the possible design icons. Enjoy!
The speak german, and english. They are kind, attentive and very simpatici.
The breakfasts perfect too, and the position of the restaurant terrace is simply amazing.
I recommend to have dinner there. Ask for a nice table by the water and enjoy the fresh, delicious food.
A pride for us italian.
Very good choice of wines. Right price.
I wonder why this place is not number one in Torri.
And I checked one of the bad review they had.
My feeling is that this is a real boutique hotel, quiet and secluded, Not at all a touristic hotel, for groups.
It's a pet friendly place.
So my personal bravo to Stefano and family!!
Make your reservation well in advance. They are always fully booked.
Cari amici del Baia dei Pini, vi ho recensito in inglese perché spero che tutti leggano. Ve lo meritate!

This hotel has great location. It is a beach front hotel, and the room we stayed in had direct access to the beach. It is a modern hotel, with a stylish but minimalist feel - especially in the room we stayed in (which was on the ground floor underneath the restaurant). Our stay was comfortable and the room was very clean.

There were only a couple of drawbacks. Firstly there were no tea and coffee facilities or fridge in the room. We had to go up to the restaurant area and drink it in the seating area. Be warned, they are very busy in the evenings and it may take a while to be served. Although we didn't eat there, the restaurant was very popular and the food looked amazing. The views of the lake are stunning, something we got to experience at breakfast.

The second drawback was the wifi connection from our room was poor. It was stronger in the lobby or upstairs area.

Breakfast was amazing. The selection they offer is impressive, and the staff are quite attentive. The views of the lake from the breakfast room are definitely a highlight.

This was possibly the best hotel that I have ever stayed in, thanks to its incredible views, excellent food, and quirky design features. It was delightful to overlook the lake during breakfast, in a peaceful veranda which was open on three-sides to the lake/beach. The breakfast was a wide range of meats/cheeses, pastries/donuts/muffins, yogurts, breads, and also hot eggs and ham available too. Supper was absolutely excellent - better than the other restaurants we found around the lake. It was mostly meat and seafood - no pasta or pizza so if you want that typically italian food you can go elsewhere. There are various other restaurants within walking distance along the waterfront.
I very much enjoyed the quirky design features, such as colourful cows and giant heads in the garden, and some original modernist furniture in the bar. The pool wasn't heated, so a little cold for me. It probably warms up later in the year, though then I would swim in the lake instead which has waters just as clear as the pool.
My only complains were very minor - no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and the bed could have been softer.

The owners' management and organisational skills are shocking. After making a booking almost a year in advance, and then confirming the booking months in advance, the hotel management decided to cancel the booking (still have no idea why) two months before I was meant to arrive.

Regarding the review “awful service” of 25st februar 2014 we would like to clarify what follows:
These people have already been our guests in Hotel, the last time was in April 2013, and when they left they made a reservation for 13 rooms for the week-end 16th – 18th May 2014. I would like to start by saying that we had no credit card info and no deposit to guarantee the reservation. I would like to specify also that our hotel has 22 rooms, therefore a reservation of 13 rooms represents for us more then the 50% of our hotel capacity and according to our cancellation policy the guests can cancel the reservation until two weeks before the arrival with no penalty.
We have many guests who make their reservation with a lot of advance, also one year before, and it is for this reason that in January we use to make an update of all the reservations that we have, most of all if the reservations have such an advance. We simply contact the guests in order to ask them to reconfirm the reservation. This habit is very appreciated by the guests, because this habit gives an additional guarantee to the reservation, for them and for us.
We have contacted these people in January just to ask them if everything was ok with the reservation of the 13 rooms but we didn’t have any answer. The mail resulted to be received by the beneficiary. After a week ,we tried to contact again the guests, forwarding the same mail also to the mail-address of another member of the staff but we didn’t have any answer. We also gave them an alternative date in May too, in case that the 16th-18th May could be not available anymore. No answer again!
At this point, we proceed with the cancellation of the reservation, because without any answer, we considered the reservation not trustworthy anymore. Anyway, we gave in the same mail also two alternative dates for two week-ends in April and eventually also availability in October. No answer!
Four weeks later, precisely on 20th February, they contacted us for the reservation and we told them that we had to cancel the reservation because nobody answer for a month to our mail when we ask to reconfirm the reservation.
In a very arrogant manner they told us that they had no reason to answer. I would like to attach what they wrote:.. ….. <<It is absolutely unacceptable that you don't keep up the fixed reservation because you don't receive an e-mail answer for a month. In the middle of the holiday season by the way. What if the person would have been on holiday? Is there a law that requires to be responsive in the 12 months between a confirmed reservation and the actual date of the stay?>>
We believe that their justification is not admissible and, most of all, we find really ridiculous that they have done such a negative score in all the facilities of our hotel, (one year later!), and if they were desirous to come again this year! Absurd!
Best regards
Stefano Faccioli, owner of Baia dei Pini Hotel

We came to this hotel by mistake but so happy that we did! One of the most beautiful hotel I have ever been at, far from the crowded cities of the lake lying right above this hotel we could not ask for more, rooms are amazingly decorated every small detail is taken into account... Although a bit pricey, this hotel justify its pricing...

Baia Dei Pini, a small 22 bedroom hotel, with a great location at the Garda sea in Torri Del Benaco.
Everything is simply good at this 3 star hotel. 3 star should be 4 by placing a frig in the bedroom. But that is the only negative thing to say, no frig in the room for warm sunny days.
Service is great, food and wine is great and the modern Baia Dei Pini hotel is a excellent for choice for a stay at the Garda Lake. We enjoyed 5 days very much and will certainly come back next year.

Room Tip: Choos a room at the sea front

Hotel Baia dei Pini, a classy run , in my modest opinion , underrated hotel on Lake Garda. Excellent staff with Italian flair with beautiful modern rooms. We were there for a wedding in the region and needed a hotel to chill out. It was our second stay. The views of the lake are phenomenal, a pool in the garden , parking space for your car which can be hard to come by when staying on Lake Garda.

From a good bottle of wine to arranging a taxi to the middle of nowhere the staff work miracles.

In short, all you need for a relaxing stay on the lake.

Room Tip: Order the suite.
