“It was everything they said it was”
Reviewed 6 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Lovely house off the beaten track but still an easy stroll to the nearest pubs. With 4 large dogs travelling is always an issue for us but the house and garden were very spacious and comfortable. The house was very clean and decor was bright and fresh. Location is grand for getting to well, everywhere. Maps and local info on arrival were very helpful. Booking was easy and communication with the owners was excellent. Would recommend.

“The ideal holiday stay for dogs and their owners.”

The reviews we read before booking Dusty's Place are spot on. The house was really comfortable and spacious. There is loads of books, DVDs and games provided for those rainy days.

The large enclosed garden was a big hit with our 2 dogs who spent a lot of time chasing each other around it. It's so hard to find a property suitable for 2 dogs, usually the gardens are open and we have to put our dogs on leads to take them into the garden.. To be able to open the back door and just let them run free was so enjoyable for them and us.

We had a lovely welcome pack which included very special biscuits for our dogs and Moe and Lady really enjoyed them.

The location of the house is so close to beaches and walks it is an ideal holiday venue for owners and their dogs. There is so much to do and explore around Inishowen.

Eileen has been really helpful and very prompt to reply to any queries I had when I was booking Dusty's Place with her. Eileen even contacted us on our return home to make sure we had enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back.

“We Love It!”

We've been to Dusty's 3 or 4 times now and we love it more every time! The house is huge with an open fire and of course the best part is your dog is welcome. There's maps and brochures in the welcome pack which are really helpful. It's far enough off the beaten track to be private but close enough (driving distance) to amazing beaches and places like Malin Head. Beautiful house and location.

“We had such a great time we booked another weekend for February”

I booked a weekend away at Dusty's Place as a surprise birthday present for my partner. Our dog was barely six months old and I thought it would be a good way of finding out how easy it would be to take her on holidays. We all loved it. The location is ideal: in Donegal but not remote and easy to drive to. Close to beautiful beaches, in a peaceful countryside location. The house is really spacious and inviting, very well heated (which matters a lot for a winter holiday). Although everything is spotless, you don't spend your time worrying that your dog might wreck the place because it has been thoughtfully furnished for the needs of both humans and dog. We absolutely loved the big enclosed lawn where the puppy could run run run to her heart's content. The weather was all over the place that weekend: rain, stormy winds, hailstones, sun, rainbows, more rain, more wind, more sun, and even a bout of thunder and lightening... We were close enough to the beach to be able to dash out whenever the sun poked out, and spent the rest of the time in the cozy house and back garden. We got a great welcome and a very exciting weekend. both for us and the puppy. We came back refreshed and relaxed. I would highly recommend it, both for a couple like us and for a larger group. Also, because most of the rooms are on the ground floor, it is very accessible for people with mobility issues. We loved it so much we are going back in February.

“Absolutely Fabulous”

I came across Dusty's Place in the Dog Friendly magazine and it had such great reviews that I knew immediately that I wanted to stay at Dusty's Place. We were looking to holiday in August but Dusty's Place was fully booked so we opted for October and we couldn't believe our luck...we had glorious sunshine everyday! We had an amazing holiday and a fantastic time at Dusty's Place and needless to say our German Shepherd Clive had the best time ever. I always look for properties with enclosed gardens and not only is the garden enclosed but it is large...Clive was able to run around and enjoy himself. If you don't have a dog you will also love this property...it caters for everyone. The property is very well situated...two pubs within walking distance, a portable cabin within walking distance that has all the essentials i.e. bread, milk etc. The nearest supermarket and beach are only a short drive away in Culdaff where you will also find a hotel restaurant and a Chinese take-away that offers a delivery service. There is so much to do and see around Dusty's Place...we visited so many wonderful and very beautiful beaches, the national park, the stone circle, Ireland's most northerly point, the famine village etc. etc. We stayed for one week but next time we will definitely stay for longer. The house is spacious with a cosy lounge downstairs and a wonderful stove fire...I was very excited about having our own peat fire. Upstairs has a very large lounge so there is lots of space for everyone. The bedrooms are a good size and the kitchen / utility room / dining area are open plan which is great. Dusty's Place has thought of everything when it comes to comfort, recycling, dog waste and being able to enjoy time away from home. We all thoroughly enjoyed our week at Dusty's Place and will definitely be back!

“Perfect stay in an amazing landscape”
Reviewed 19 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We stayed at Dusty's for the second time with our dog Maja! The house and the garden make us and our dog feel welcome from the first moment on.
Amazing beaches in the near surrounding and the great Irish people we met, made this an unforgettable holiday.
The House has everything you need and if there is something missing John Paul and Michelle will help out.
We enjoyed the oven in the living room with excellent Irish Whisky!
Thanks one more time....we'll be back
