We rode our bikes up Mount Ventoux on our last day of a three week sojourn to the Vaucluse region and we stopped for lunch at Le Mas des Vignes on the way road down. Were we glad we did. This restaurant is a gem. A small and charming and surprisingly upscale spot with a fabulous views from the east flank of the mountain. The three course "menu" offered wonderful fois gras, delicious lamb chops and a great filet of beef. The deserts were to die for, and the list of local wines was excellent. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to sit on the terrace, but the dining room was cozy and had windows on three sides. If you plan to visit Mont Ventoux, be sure to try this delightful restaurant.
