My husband and I were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and wanted to do something romantic for ourselves. This trip was definitely the way to go! Right from the beginning the staff knew how to set the mood, you received champagne as soon as you arrived while live music was being sung. Then you were taken on a beautiful catermeran ride to watch the sunset. While on the cruise the staff was not only funny but very accommodating always ready with a drink and quite yummy appetizers. All the while there were always very wonderful photo opps, which of course at the end you could purchase. When you arrived back at the beach you had your own candlelit table the food was nice. My husband and I both had the steak dinner. The saxophone player was amazing! It was so nice to have fun easy going night to reconnect with your loved one. We were also very fortunate to have gone with a fun group which was nice to visit with people from all over but still to have your private time:) would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy a fun romantic evening. Thanks again to the wonderful enchanted staff!

I wanted to find a sunset cruise in or near Playa del Carmen and this was the best (and one of the only) option I could find. It is a cruise with a dinner on the beach afterwards. The price range is from $87-100 depending on the type of food you get (vegetarian, steak, lobster or steak and lobster). They picked us up at a hotel in PDC and it is about a 15-20 minute drive to the Playa Maroma beach, which is between Cancun and PDC. You are handed a glass of champagne and a couple of guitar players play some music while you wait on the beach for everyone to arrive. It is a lovely white sand beach and a nice setting for the dinner. We were told there are anywhere from 10-30 people on the catamaran and that was about right - we probably had around 20-24. The catamaran is moderate sized and they take you out for an hour or two on the water, serve drinks and appetizers. They do not skimp on the alcohol! Then afterward it's dinner on the beach - tables are separated by white sheets/dividers. It actually looked very quaint. Unfortunately, right when we sat down it began raining so we were ushered inside to have dinner inside. A saxophone player played some mellow dinner music. The food was average, nothing spectacular - most of us had the vegetarian which was lasagna, but oddly it had no noodles in it...? One person in our group had the lobster and thought it was very good. There was a corn soup and caprese salad, followed by the entree and lastly a dessert.
Overall, we all had a good time - for the price it is a really good deal. It includes transportation to the beach, the catamaran trip with drinks and appetizers, dinner, music and return transportation. They do take some pictures of you along the way and then offer you a cd to purchase at the end - I can't remember the price. All of the staff was very nice and accommodating. It is about 4 hours from the time we got there until we departed. I would recommend it!
