“Good food”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

Both the Indian paratha roll and fish and chips were excellent. Can get smaller serves called "light bites" or larger serve of 3 pieces of fish with chips. Indian roll came with rice and sauce so it was an adequate main meal. Would have eaten there more often if we had not decided to try other restaurants on the island. Went for fish and chips 2 days in a row as it was so good!

“Tasty food and just lovely staff”
Reviewed 23 March 2014

I spent a couple of days having lunch and dinner here (it's at the same location as my dive center). The menu is great, both tasty Philippine dishes and nice western ones too (loved the spaghetti and meat balls!).

“Pleasant Surprise!”
Reviewed 11 February 2014

We ate here as we were diving at Thresher Shark Divers and we didn't have very high expectations based on previous dive shop restaurant experiences. However, we were pleasantly surprised as there was excellent, fast service and delicious, home-made food in a lovely beach side atmosphere. Great soup, fish and dessert too!

“Very good local food!!!”
Reviewed 27 January 2014

We were doing a course with Thresher Shark Divers, and spent a lot of time eating and studying at Oscar's. The food is awesome--one of the best lechon kawali (fried pork belly) that I've had. Being originally from the Philippines, I've tried a lot of this dish, but Oscar's was pretty memorable. They had good Filipino breakfast too. I didn't try much of the Western dishes, as there were a lot of Filipino dishes that I had been missing and craving, so those were the ones I mostly had at Oscar's. The service is pretty good too--staff are nice, cheerful and polite. Would definitely go back!

“Best Service on the Island”
Reviewed 7 October 2013

The service at Oscars is hands down the best on the island. After one visit, everybody will know your name. It makes diving with TSD very convenient. The nasi goreng is the best i have ever had and i had this every day for breakfast. The menu is good, but i especially like the daily specials, I had a bbq pork rib and it was terrific. It is a lovely place to hang out and i was there almost daily for happy hour.
