“Lovely, lovely, lovely!”
Review of Bounty Beach

Reviewed 14 March 2014

Lovely warm blue waters. Perfection!

There is some rubbish around, but there is rubbish everywhere in the Phillippines. Lovely to lay around and read a book and relax.

Malapascua island is good for divers, if you like snorkeling or enjoy beach and night, malapascua is not the destination. BEACH? not really spectacular. Only simple beach.
The beach is good water as all philippines, with the boats to rent by yourself or you can coordinate with divers hotels. Is really quiet and this october without tourist, really few.

Many beach of philippines are better than this, except diving ( many people said is very good )

CAUTION: al the times the philippino people ( boats ) offered expensive options. To arrive to malapascua from cebu you need go to Northern Bus Terminal ( NBT ) by taxi : around 100P , then take Philippino Bus ( 180P ), by private car the cost is around 4000P ( ??? ) take the YELLOW BUS ( A/C ), then in maya the people try give the boat : 1000P, but if you walk 30 meters, you ll take a ticket and the price is 80P.

Then you ll arrive to MALAPASCUA and can choice the hotel.

SUGGESTION: if you dont like or can not dive, dont go to malapascua. is only poor/average beach.

We visited this place last July 2013 and its gorgeous beach and beautiful sunset. No fancy hotel or tours here so you're on a lookout for own activity. Most of the major hotel and excursions are limited except during summer in Apr-June. My advice is to find locals to arrange for excursions to nearby islands. If you plan to go here bring lots of sunscreen to protect from sunburn because it's really hot. The place is totally safe and most locals work as fisherman or as boat guide in daytime. Enjoy your stay here and relax…

The beach is a good place to rest or chill with bars and resorts. Quite narrow for being the most famous on the island.
In our opinion there are better beaches in Malapascua, go to Langob and compare.

This one is the beach you should go to for the sand and the sunset. Be sure to bring your camera at the sunset time. You can relax or walk along the shore. Best of all there are not too many boats and trash so that is a big plus. Just be mindful of the natives trying to sell you stuff. That can detract from the overall setting.
