We stayed in Sotogrande for a week back in October and Jan Staels catered for our requirements so well.
The bakery, fresh bread croissants and the pain au raisin (massive) superb, homemade cakes and tarts, beautiful.
The cafe, sat outside a real sun trap but there is a canopy, looking toward the marina, be it breakfast, just a coffee or lunch, all freshly prepared and a varied menu meant we weren't stuck for a selection.
Then you have the ice cream, freshly made in-house, a fantastic selection and for someone who doesn't really like ice cream, I was impressed.
The service is very good and the standard is set by the proprietor Jan, who helped make our stay in Sotogrande such an enjoyable time, thank you.
