I stayed in Mesagne for a fortnight recently and lunched at this restaurant 6 or 7 times during my stay.
The restaurant is placed just inside the main high gated entrance to the old town. The reception from the staff was warm, friendly and very efficient.
Although the menu was not extensive, the quality and variety of the food was excellent.
The waiter was very attentive and even when the restaurant got busy, I always felt that I was not being forgotten.
One day the waiter suggested lobster and pasta, as I had been through much of the menu. It was outstanding quality.
One piece of advise if you decide to lunch here-don't arrive at 1.30 p.m. and expect to get a table ! I always arrived about 12.30.
