The atmosphere is great. La Mata Tinta is set back off the street in a small shopping complex. There is a large open air seating area in the front. Venturing further in reveals the bar in the back and a secluded seating area to the left. Staff is friendly and attentive, but English language may not be available depending on who is working. A rudimentary knowledge of Spanish will get you by.
A selection of Mexican beers is available; Indio, XX, Bohemia, & Tecate. You can also have coffee, juices, wine, cocktails or liquor.
Food menu includes appetizers, salads, sandwiches (Panini or Wrap) and about six entrees. I have only tried the house made chips (mafalda). They were good, but would be better shared with others. Next visit, if solo, I would try the nachos guacamole.
Be sure to ask about drink specials. Often they will offer 2 for 1.
