This inn is quaint, but if you want a good night's sleep, ask for a room in the back. The inn is on a busy and noisy street, and traffic picks up early in the morning. Other than the noise, this inn is a good place to stay.

Room Tip: Rooms in the back are quieter.

We just returned from a 6 night stay at this clean, quiet, and very friendly boutique hotel located one block from the center of Tlaquepaque. This was our fourth visit to this hotel over the last 10 years. We stayed in an upstairs deluxe suite with a very comfortable king bed and a large divided bathroom area. The complementary continental breakfast can be supplemented with excellent dishes from the menu. Dinner at their restaurant was the best we found in town and we especially enjoyed the guacamole appetizer and squash blossom soup. There is ample shaded area outside for eating or lounging as well as a pool. The hotel is located very close to the main shopping streets and taxi stands for easy trips into the center of Guadalajara or Tonalá. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful.

We have just returned from our fourth visit to Tlapuepaque and Quinta Don Jose Hotel. The people there are warm and wonderfully attentive. For the husbands it was a refuge while the girls shopped. Our room(s) were lage and a quick step out the door led to a quiet garden and the pool. The outdoor breadfast area is lovely with fountains and flowers - beautiful. The staff could not do enough for you - serving snaks and drinks pool side. It is special as it is small and therefore quiet and comfortable. We love it and will return again.

Room Tip: Larger rooms by the pool.

We booked a 2 night stay at this lovely hotel and stayed in a 2 bedroom villa across the street from the main hotel. For "Tres Mujeres" on a shopping excursion it was perfect. One bedroom had a king bed and the other 2 twins. The bedrooms were in the back of the unit and were very quiet. It had a nice size sitting area at the front entrance, a good sized dinning table and a nicely equiped kitchen. Our villa was clean and well kept. The main hotel had beautiful grounds with a water fall and a pool. Breakfast was served in a beautiful breakfast room. You could order off a menu or just have the courtesy breakfast of fruit plate, sweet rolls, orange juice and coffee, which was more than plenty! We ate dinner in the restaurant one night, the food was excellent Italian, reasonably priced, with a good wine list. They also had music, a single guitar player/singer, that added to the ambiance. We would definitely stay here again, plus you can walk to shopping, just around the corner!

An oasis a short stroll from Tlaquepapue shopping area. Staff is friendly and provide excellent service. Garden area and pool provide a tranquel setting. Rooms are first class. Restaurant has a good wine list and food is great. We would not think of staying anywhere else.

Room Tip: Try room 6, or room 11
