Four of us (two couples) at here. Two were very pleased - a filet and salmon. The other two (my wife and I unfortunately) were less happy with a boring salad and molcajete with tough tasteless beef. Our waitress was lovely and helpful. Service very good. I would try again, but different choices next time!

The food was outstanding at Casa Luna- a real taste sensation! A beautiful setting and an interesting menu- even has live music several nights a week.
I believe there is a Cooking School attached- with a great reputation. Has been operating for over 20 years.

Four of us just had lunch here and it took forever to get served. Nothing was hot when we got it, but it was all very tasty and nicely prepared...but it would have been amazing if it had been more than room temperature. The filet mignon was the most tender we have ever tasted (beware - ordering it "rare" means your steak will be "blue"!). The cream of coriander soup was delicious (the one thing that came hot), salads were nice, and the tortilla soup good. The prices were fair.

A group of us had gone to look at art in Tlaquepaque and were wandering the streets looking for lunch when we ran into Estrella from Casa Luna. She guided us to the restaurant and told us to ask for the "free margarita". My four other friends each ordered one and raved about them. We went on to dine on delicious Molotes, Cream of Coriander soup, melted cheese Molcajete and the best of all... killer Chiles en Nogada The place was light and colorful and surrounded by the Luna art gallery which we shopped before we left. We even met David Luna on the way out!

You walk into Casa Luna and are met with a beautiful array of colourful lanterns beneath the opening in the roof. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with old style tables and chairs with new style walls, colour and decorating.
The food is also a nice mix of new and old with traditional fares as well as seasonal favourites.
After being seated and offered a nice choice of drinks, my wife went for a very tasty fresa margarita while I had the lemonade infused with spearmint which was a delicious refreshing drink that reminded me of a virgin mojito.
Our very attentive staff explained the menu and the nights features and listened to what we were looking for that night. She suggested the Chile en Nogada which is a dish available only in September and October. It is a chile stuffed with pulled pork, pear, cheese and other tasty herbs and spices. The chile is then smothered in a wonderful pomegranate cream sauce and then coated in pomegranate seeds which makes for a beautiful presentation as it arrives at your table. The taste as you cut into the chile was a wonderful mix of savoury from the pulled pork, tangyness from the fruit and some sweet from the sauce. It was our first time trying this dish and we would definitely have it again to share.
Our dessert consisted of a piece of Pan de Elote which is a type of corn cake and another first for us. It is served hot with a cajeta and cinnamon sauce with fruit pieces on top. Very good mixture and would definitely try this again.
Give this restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed as the staff, ambience and food all do it justice
