I visited this hotel with family which included my little one who was 2 at the time. Positives are that the hotel was clean and well maintained, the pool area was decent enough and the rooms were clean too. The restaurant was decent with pleasant simple food and the staff in the restaurant were friendly if not massively efficient at mealtimes which I will expand on later. The hotel was quite 'infant' friendly and my little one had a lovely time splashing about in the kiddy pool which is a good size for young ones. It was also very quiet which is exactly what we were looking for. The location allowed us to take several trips without too much hassle and the trip to Olympia was a real highlight. (WARNING: avoid the snack cafe within the premises at Olympia unless tiny ice-creams and syrup based drinks at nearly 5 euros each are your desire.)

Overall though, everything was quite basic. The rooms were quite small, air con was reasonably consistent but promised wi-fi was not (hardly major but worth noting). The concept of all inclusion seemed to relate only to food. At meal times we were given our first drink with no problem and a smile but getting a second was no mean feat. The wait at the restaurant bar was somewhat extensive as hoards of dehydrated diners were forced to abandon their meals partway through and gather for another thimble full of anything wet in the small bar area in the corner. There was usually only one member, sometimes two on duty as the others seemed very busy cleaning tables, seating guests, replacing empty food trays and the like. (As a side note, avoid buying bottled water to store in your room at the bar as you will (some might argue reasonably - I'll leave it to you to decide) pay a very heavy premium for the 'convenience'.
Reception staff were varying degrees of friendly but the experience was soured by their making a fuss about an item that they considered, damaged. It seems they had some trouble getting a small 'stain' out and rather than informing us when the 'damage' was first noticed (magnifying glass anyone??), they chose to wait around 4 days until we were checking out and demand payment saying we were free to take the item with us. This left a terribly bad taste in my mouth and such a fuss about single small stain on a small easily replaceable item said a great deal to me about their understanding of customer service.
My overall opinion is that if you are looking for a basic, budget package (and don't mind being left feel thirsty at mealtimes) no frills or fancy stuff, this hotel, which I would consider to be 3* at best, may be just the place you are looking for.

We felt like guests of the family. All the staff can't do enough for you. Our room was extremely comfortable on the top floor overlooking the children's play area. We enjoyed the sea breeze on our balcony. Toiletries were replenished as needed. Wardrobe and drawer space were quite sufficient. Air conditioning was good. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room and a fridge. Safe available for 15 euros. Sky news available on television.

Free wi-fi and computer use in the lobby with selection of guests books to read by reception.

Bar service very good and selection of drinks excellent. Would highly recommend the Brand Alexander.

The restaurant was excellent. Obviously run by the family who took great care in offering good food. It is all kept very fresh during the restaurant hours. Selection of fresh salads is amazing. On our last night we enjoyed a barbecue and we felt that we were guests of the hotel family.

Gardens are beautifully maintained and herbs, salad and veg items are grown on site. All areas inside and out are kept exceptionally clean.

You can walk to the main road and find souvenir shops, restaurants, supermarkets and bars . However not at all rowdy in the daytime. Walks to the beach and around the hotel are quite rural.

Thanking you very much for looking after us so well to all the staff and entertainment.

We have just returned from a lovely week at the Bitzaro Palace Hotel. The hotel was spotlessly clean as was the pool and the gardens were looking beautiful and obviously well maintained. The food was excellent and so much variety. The waiting staff were always on hand with a smile. The reception staff were also very helpful and answered any questions as they arose. As a family of three we would recommend this hotel and are looking to revisit again in the near future.

Room Tip: Try to get a room overlooking the pool

Great 2 week stay at the Bitzaro Palace. Peaceful hotel. Nice pool, great pool and lovely staff. Ignore all the negatives because you won't be disappointed. Really good value too.

Would recommend a few trips too to break the holiday up. We went to Smugglers Cove and Olympia. Smugglers Cove was too busy but it was high season, but Olympia was a great trip and well worth it.

The bitzaro Palace is small and friendly. All the staff work really hard to ensure you have a lovely relaxing break. The receptionist was really helpful, the barman works hard but as there is only one bar open, either the pool bar in the restaurant during the day or the lobby bar in the evenings, sometimes there is a queue. There are plenty of sunbeds and the pool is just the right size so that it warms up during the day. The only thing is this hotel does not provide pool towels, which is a shame when you only have 15kg weight limit on your cases, so make sure you pack one. The restaurant is small so not too noisy, there is always a table for you and the staff are quick at clearing away. The food is,lovely, plenty of choice and always hot. There is not much entertainment which suits us and nothing much for children to do, very quiet in the evenings. there is plenty to do out on the main road, bars, shops, restaurants and 7 euro in a taxi to Laganas, the party area. We had a lovely relaxing week and would definitely (never said it before) we will certainly go back again next year.

Room Tip: Only 3 floors high but third floor is best as you get a bit of a breeze. We had room 311 at the end of the block which was lovely and peaceful, apart from the plane noise obviously as this hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport.
