There is so much that is good about this hotel which makes it more of a shame that they don't review a few small areas that would really help.
No free WiFi is unacceptable in this day and age. Charging 30 Euros for a safe in the room is crazy especially when you can crack it yourself "do re mi, easy as 1 2 3". We stayed in a Bungalow and the air conditioning was woeful, cool air certainly not cold. We had to detach the magnetic ignition fob from the key to keep it working whenever we left the room just to keep the temperature reasonable.
We must have inadvertently upset our cleaner as she never left us replacement shampoo after the second day. It might have been as we had to rearrange the twin mattresses width ways across the two single bed frames as we kept sliding apart during the night and one us us slowly sinking into the gap.
The bathroom is a bit tired and plastic shower curtains are always naff.
The tennis court charges per person 5 Euros if you want floodlights which is a very odd calculation. It would be nice if they tried to organise a few social events for a tennis mix in.
This is an Italian and Russian dominated hotel make no mistake. The English are coming but manage your expectations. The hotel is very confused about the age group they are appealing to. Blasting out Latin music and Dance music at the aqua aerobics and pool side exercise classes daily really wound me and many others up. It was far too loud, went on for too long and some of the words which were in English were disgusting but clearly lost on the majority of guests. Get your towels down early on a sun bed as those very rude Russians will hog them all day long. I presume that please, thank you and sorry do not exist in the Russian language.
Evening entertainment is poor and little of it in English.
The brand new spa looked good and we blagged a swim in the lovely cold indoor pool which was wonderful.
The staff and quality of food is what makes this hotel. It is hard to imagine how the staff could have been any more friendly. Alex the maître d was charm personified. We had a lunch box one day as we were going out and it was hideous. Alex did not disagree and prepared a special box for us later when we were out again. That is personal service. The bar staff and in particular Andreos were cheerful and helpful and Catalin who served us all week was lovely.

We hired a car for one day and a scooter for another from Smartrental.gr and the owner was a wealth of information giving us lots of tips about where and when to go. You just have to visit Zia, have a lovely meal and watch the sun set. There is a wonderful Hamam in Tigaki, which is so much better than any other Hamam I have ever experienced. The Cosmos brief description on the list of day trips available does not do it any justice.

Monarch flights and staff were very good. Did you know you can pre book seats and meals on their website? It is a bit clunky and unclear but it can be done. Anyway I managed to book the wrong seats but the air stewards understood how I made the mistake and moved us in and out of Kos (awful airport, zero space and use of technology, it called Hippocrates as that is when it was possibly built)! The various archaeological sites scattered around the island really need some information points to help you understand what you are looking at.

Overall, very good but I wont be going back, too many other choices. Mark Warner do it just a little bit better but then you pay a bit more. The fact that all meals, drinks and nibbles are free all day and every day means this is great value for money if you can get it at a discounted price.

Room Tip: Away from the outdoor theatre which is loud and goes on until late.

Dear Guests,

We wouldd like to thank you your opinion.
We would like to inform you that the tennis courts are frre of charge, only at night time during 20:00 until 22:00, only for two hours.
Further more, the procedures are: First off all the clients make a request at the reception . The technician is going to the room to open the safe and after the clients can enter their own code and a letter. Also, there is no access to the room except clients and cleaners.
Hope to see you again!
Kind regards,
Director

This is a fabulous hotel. Not many Brits but don't let that put you off. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and the service we have received during our stay has knocked spots off our recent hodays in Spain.
Our room was modern and spacious and the beds the com first ever even a better nights sleep than at a premier inn. The bathrooms have a luxurious feel with multi jet shores an modern fitments
The pool area was spacious and spotless. This is the first hotel I have ever stayed at where there has been no need to get up at the crack of dawn to fight for a dubbed. Everyone is just so chilled and the private beach helps spread the need for beds.
All inclusive very good. We loved the choice and cocktails.
There are alot of Italians in this hotel most of the entertainment is in Italian however the animation team do a fantastic job of trying to involve everyone.

the hotel itself is great. spotlessly clean and the food is quite good {not the best as someone in a previouse review said}. Its half an hour walk into the village which is a nice walk along the seafront unfortunately the recession has really hit this country hard and on the island there is a lot of derelict buildings which makes the place look a mess. Our main problem was with the entertainment, none of it is in English as our tour operators have not been able to put English animation teams into the hotel I was told that this is to do with the management at the hotel. The animation team that is there speak foreign and will not translate what they are doing into English and so my 16 year old daughter complained on a comments board as she wished to join in some activities around the pool but it was obious that she was not welcome to do so. One night while we were eating our meal we could see the animation team crowded around the notice board laughing and writing something so we went to have a look later and they had written that the animation is only for Russians and Italian, this triggered off a lot of bad feeling with other English there who were also upset at the lack of entertainment for us.We travel a lot and when shows come on at night we have always had them translated in many languages as well as our own.

Room Tip: we were in 209 which had a nice view and it was quiet
