This hotel is fine if you just want a place to sleep after a night out!!! It's location is perfect as it's literally a 1 minute walk from the only two clubs in Kardemena, and a five minute walk from the strip :). The rooms are only basic but extremely clean on arrival. If you want a party holiday this hotel is the one!!!
Went to Elga Apartments mid June with 1830 (5 girls)
We had two rooms, one could sleep up to four, the other just a twin bed. For a no frills hotel, we were really impressed with the sizes of our rooms. Really spacious, particularly the two bed, which had its own separate kitchen, the bathroom was nothing to shout about but its as you'd expect for a basic hotel in Greece. The one complaint about the rooms was the heat. No air con available and the temp was hitting about 40 degrees in the day, it was a bit like torture Im not going to lie. But I'm guessing like us you're probably going to be drunk or hungover so just get up and sleep it off by the pool.
Pool was great, great size and so many beds and umbrellas, which is always a good thing always lots available. Pool bar prices also weren't too bad and the food was alright aswell!
The hotel itself was sort of a straight road ish to the strip which is right by the beach, and also right by the two clubs. Its all well lit and busy so you feel safe walking back alone.
THE ONLY WARNING I HAVE FOR EVERYONE
anything at all you spot a little bit broken on the 1st day, report to your rep, I know it seems tedious but the sneaky woman who you like all week behind the desk tries to charge you ridiculous amounts for things you havent done.
If this happens, just stand your ground we didnt pay a thing because we knew we hadnt done it. A lot of younger people just paniced and paid it but definitely dont do that. It was really annoying as it tainted the hotel for us on the last day, somewhere which otherwise we had really enjoyed staying.
LITTLE TIP
If like us you like heavily pre drinking, the rooms are too hot and the balconys are quite small if theres a few of you, I think we were on the second on 3rd floor maybe, if you walk round the side theres like a big massive veranda take your table and chairs there and its nice and cool :-)
Absolutely loved kos! Miss it already only got back yesterday. Reps are amazing, Rosie is lovely and Simon is really tidy, we bought the package off them at the start which was for everything and cost 204€ which sounds a lot but personally I think it's worth it of you will do all if the events! Best place for food is rios which is literally a 2 minute walk strongly recommend the gyros! When you get there say uppa lions to Simon and he will love you!
Only one bad side too it but wants even too much of a problem the hotel needs air con but you'll get that drunk you won't even think about it!
Mozzie a are a bugger out there strongly recommend you take mozzie spray.
Make sure you do the silent disco and the foam partyy that was by far the best night!
Firstly Elga is quite easily the best hotel in kardemena, ignore the bad reviews because this place gave us the most amazing week!
As a group of 12 girls we were a slight challenge for Simon ( the best rep). He did nothing but make our week perfect and regardless of the money without the rep package our week wouldnt have been the same! The people you meet are what make your holiday and being a part of the elga family is something unique
Talking of people the Elga have some amaxing bar staff, martin and james are second to none! A special mention has to go to the walking eye candy which is Charlie, befriend him because he can be quite useful if you need a warm shower!!

We went as a 5, we got to the hotel after a 10 minute journey and greeted by the two reps rosie and Simon.
Reps- both reps were very friendly and as previous reviews say I would recommend at least 3 of the activities safari moon party and booze cruise. Gives you a good chance to meet other people and have a good laugh plus I have 3 hours in total of free bar!fot 145 euros.
Night life- if u do choose a night out just with ur groups u wont be disappointed there is people all over offering good deals and defo try the water party at starlight.
Eating - Elga has a good pool bar hut other Than that for dinner we went to rios or captains,the staff is really friendly.
Elga it's self is a good hotel don't expect to get much sleep but y would u go on a 18-30s to sleep! The bar staff r friend James and charlie and burnley boy well that's how we referred to him as

First girls holiday and it was amazing. 6 of us went and we all loved it. Firstly, ignore all the bad reviews on here cause the Elga is sound as! Clean and no yellow shower water. Reps are lovely too. Very helpful.
