“Beautiful villa.”

Booked this villa to stay as a couple with daughter and grandson 7 years.
The location is quiet and adjacent to the sea shore. There is a wonderful walkway all along the shore line for runners, bicycles, with a nice fitness track.
The villa is a 5 minute drive from a Spar supermarket. All the rooms are nicely furnished. The pool is unheated but useable in February when we stayed as long as you keep moving! The patio doors do lock automatically when you close them so just beware if you go outside you don't lock yourself out. Best to read the information booklet first.... Plenty of room to park on the road outside. There are restaurants within walking distance 15 to 20 minutes. A good place to stay if you want to go surfing as some of the surf schools will collect you locally to transport you to Famara beach about 20 minute drive away. Best to hire a car if you want to travel around the island and there is lots to see. A great island to visit and this villa is lovely and spacious. Jose the owner is also really helpful.

Villa Mareta is a beautiful place to stay, and the owner, Jose, together with his staff, are unfailingly polite and helpful. The villa is adjacent to a beach which has a great fitness route running along it, but is situated in a vet quiet area.
You know the area is pleasant as the villa is almost next door to one of the Spanish Royal family's holiday homes.

“Nice place ”
Reviewed 19 February 2018 for a stay in February 2018

A good villa, clean, well-maintained, with lots of room and good facilities. There were a few minor issues, there was very little hot water (maybe because it’s solar heated and it was early in the season), which makes it a bit awkward for everyone to have showers/baths. We had an issue with the glass in the shower and some of the white furnishings are starting to look a bit marked unfortunately. Also the swimming pool was very cold, which meant that we didn’t really use it, would be fabulous if it was heated. First aid box needs replenishing, sorry to moan, but quite important. The tv seemed to have Spanish channels apart from Disney, although there is a DVD player, so I would definitely recommend bringing DVDs to keep the kids entertained. There was also a leak from the roof which the owner was very quick to look into to. The owner is very helpful, and friendly, the villa is very close to the main promenade along the coast which is great for going running or cycling. Costa Teguise is not as pretty as some Lanzarote towns, there is an industrial plant with large wind turbines as part of the view, but it has a lot of other things going for it. There is a local Europaspa with inexpensive delicious food, and lots of amenities. Would recommend, although a few little things would make it even better. We had a good time nonetheless.

A well kept property right by the beach, in a quiet area at the very beginning of the promenade walk into the town of Costa Teguise.

3 good sized bedrooms on the first floor, 1 with ensuite shower room and Jack & Jill sinks. 2 bedrooms have sliding doors onto a balcony area then a family bathroom, also with Jack and Jill sinks just off the landing. On the ground floor you have a living/dining area with large TV/dvd (only Spanish TV but you can access music channels), WI/FI, a small but fully functional kitchen with dishwasher, a utility room with washing machine and a downstairs shower with WC.

There's a perfect little pool for cooling off and splashing around, with a good sized patio area. There's part of it sheltered under the balcony so you don't always have to sit in the direct sun. I am currently sitting underneath at 8pm, I'm still in my bathing suit as the sun is setting, it's a lush 23C.

The pool guy came on the 2nd day and 3 days later to check the ph levels and to clean the bits of volcanic stones that gather on the bottom.

If you walk the promenade into town it will take about 30mins at a leisurely pace, failing that you can hail a cab (with a green light on top) from the main road which will cost you under €5 into the square.

All in all we have had a fantastic week and will definitely be booking again.

The location is great and we loved the sea view. I had four teenagers with me and they loved the villa. Great distance from the centre of Costa Teguise with lovely restaurants but there are lovely places to eat only about 10 mins walk away up past the nearest Hyper Dino, We loved the Dickens Cocktail bar and the Indian restaurant Tandoori Spice which are close by. Lovely pool guy who came by nearly every day and we would have no hesitation in recommending this villa. We all loved the pool and the spent a huge part of every day in it. Can't wait to go back.

Just arrived back from a weeks stay in Lanzarote and the weather was fantastic. The villa was the best we have ever stayed in defenatly a five star. Just far enough from the main tourist area but walkable for a night out, nice and quiet. Will definitely be booking again nice to have your own pool so thanks Jose your villa gave us a great break.
