Hotel Club Siroco Only Adults
Ranked #18 of 38 Hotels in Costa Teguise

We(mature couple) are just back from 4 days at Siroco & enjoyed every minute of it. I read previous reviews & was somewhat wary. How wrong they can be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We stayed all inclusive but the apartments were well equipped, clean and the accomodation as a whole was great value for money. The food was varied & enjoyable so if you couldnt find something you would like, well your hard to please and this great value accomodation would not be for you.
The staff were attentive friendly and did their best to make sure you enjoyed your holiday. Nothing was too much bother!!!
I will definitely be back soon

Room Tip: 211 ovelooks the main pool & complex area

We stayed at the sirocco in september 2011.After reading previous negative comments we were worried although need not have been. The room was clean and very spacious and the cleaners do a great job of changing bedding and towels etc especially if you leave a small tip as i have found on all my holidays. We had no problems with the food always plenty of choice. The entertainment i found was typical of spain/canary islands most nights not up to much but we went away to have a good time and made the most of it, we usually always go all inclusive as i find it is the cheapest way to go, pina colada free till 11pm you cant go wrong!! The local beach which is 5 min walk away is not so good very stony, it is worth the walk about 10-15 mins down the road where there is a fantastic beach, shops, supermarket, chemist and restaurants. The sports bar at the front of hotel is a godsend for any football fans(which suited my partner) but the drinks are not included in the all inclusive but is pretty cheap for a 4 pint pitcher !! We had an amazing time, lots of laughs, met lots of people and had amazing weather what more do you want from a cheap all inclusive holiday !! The only tip i would say is, if you burn easily take plenty of suncream as it is expensive in and around the resort and the second and the pool at the back was alot quiter during the afternoon than the main pool ..

Room Tip: we stayed in room 1108 which was ground floor overlooking the second pool.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with our 2 year old daughter. We had a nice view over the second swimming pool which was a lot quieter than the main pool area. The room was spacious but basic, but we expected that from a 2 star hotel. The room was very clean and there was instant hot water (not as common as you might hope for in other hotels we have stayed in!). The room was a little shabby but nothing a lick of paint couldn't sort out. I think we were put away from other guests but when cleaners were in the rooms next to us and below, it was very noisy. I can imagine this might be an issue if you were in any of the main buildings. You could hear doors slamming, toilets flushing etc. The pool areas was nice (a bit too cold for swimming though) and there were plenty of sun beds for the number of guests at this time of year.
Our 2 year old managed to walk into the town and the beach so it can't be that far, as some of the previous reviewers have mentioned! I would recommend any of the Cesar Restaurants - Peskera on the promenade was very nice and they do special offers such as Paella and a Pint for 7.99. I was quite shocked by how much we spent on food, probably around 30-40 euros per meal. We probably could have afforded a 5* all inclusive hotel for what we paid on food. The apartment only had a 2 ring hob and a microwave so our cooking options were limited. I would say the hotel is a nice base for exploring the resort if you're on a budget and the fact they have 2 bedroom apartments was a massive bonus for us. Next time though we will probably opt for somewhere half board but we didn't see the point in paying full price for our daughter who doesn't eat a lot anyway.

Room Tip: The smaller pool area was a lot quieter

I have to say, we were pretty sceptic about this hotel after reading some of the reviews but this accomodation well met our requirements. We went self catering and stayed in 1232 in Sirocco 11-the room was ample for the 3 of us and we were visited by the maids every other day during our stay. Very clean and very bright and airy.
Accomodation is a little out of the hustle and bustle but the centre is only 20-30 mins up the road-if you take the promenade route it is a little quicker and a much nicer stroll into town. Besides, there are so many nice restaurants and bars en-route. the hotel staff are very friendly. We had a fautly door lock and reported it on day one-it was resolved 20 mins later!. the Sportsman Bar at the front of the hotel is a God send if you are a football, cricket, rugby fan where they can play 5 games at a time. If self catering this bar is handy for a quick meal and snack on the doorstop.
I would gladly go to the Sirocco again and have already recommended it to a few friends.

If I had to find a critisism it would be that maybe a few pool side games for less smaller children (10-12+) and adults to join into but I appreciate that the pool was quite cold in February and maybe there would have been few volunteers in any case.
Please note that this review is from a self catering experience.
We never go all inclusive and I did hear a few 'bland food' complaints however we saw beverages flowing a plenty so if you plan on lots of drinking you won't be disappointed.

I have to disagree with the negative remarks about the expense of Costa Teguise's bars and restaurants-you can get a full english breakfast on the front for 2euro's. You ned to look around. In one particular cafe you get a free breakfast if you spend approx 20euro's on any one occasion. beer, lager and cider is cheaper than in the UK by at least 50p. Wher can you get 1 pt of guiness for £1.80p in the uk?

In summary, fine half term break, 10 out of 10 to Sirocco! thank you so much from us!!

After reviewing the reviews on this site I was seriously concerned that we had made a mistake booking or week at the resort. The room we staid in was clean and comfortable, the food was satisfactory and all our children enjoyed the entertainment. Infact the staff were all very professional and always happy to help. Overall we had a great holiday even with the unseasonal cold weather

We got checked into the Apartments and were told our room would be ready in an hour, we were given our All Inclusive armband and given full access to the hotel facilities and we were able to store our luggage while we waited. An hour later we picked up our room key and were given a map displaying Apartments facilities and information.
The apartment was quite spacious and very clean. Not one ant inside the room which is nearly unheard of. The bed linen was changed once a week, towels were changed every 2 days. We were staying in room 225 and no matter what you hear other people saying about pool views, try and get one of the ones we had. They may not have sun loungers on your balcony but you have privacy. The room is facing a park which is pleasant to look at when relaxing in the afternoon. We got the sun on the balcony from 1pm – 5.30pm everyday with barely a breeze.
This was a Garden View room which had tea and coffee making facilities, hob, microwave and fridge. The bathroom was of a very good standard and the power shower was good though it did go cold on a few occasions. There was a TV with a few channels to choose from. The beds weren’t the best for comfort though I think 7 nights was enough! There was automatic lighting in the stairwells at night.
The bar staff in the complex are extremely good, hardworking and very friendly. Sometimes we would wait a while before a member of staff would come to the bar to serve us. Though it was never much of a wait. They may get a bit swamped at times - but they work very hard. The bar had quite a varied menu but we were disappointed not to have cocktails on the all-inclusive menu. But there was a varied selection of Rum, Vodka, Whisky, Gin and mixers including Soda water and Lime which I love. There was only 1 type of beer on draught though which was disappointing. The restaurant had a varied menu (a meat, chicken and fish, pasta, potatoes and vegetables every night for main course). Chips were served every night, which was great for me! Ice cream is available every day at lunch and dinner and it was delicious every time. A snack bar is also available in-between meal times, which give you a choice of: burger, hotdog, sandwiches, salad, etc. (This snack menu is for AI). We never saw 1 fly in the restaurant which was excellent.
For sunbathing purposes, the pool area looks good. It is quite open which means it gets a lot of wind. We found it too windy to sit by the pool and instead we used a sand pit (play area) at the back of the Apartments and our balcony as there was barley a breeze there. We celebrated our wedding anniversary during out stay and were given a bottle of wine as a gift which was greatly appreciated. A nice personal touch!
Crazy Golf was located at the back of the Apartments for 1 euro per person and tennis is 6 euro an hour. Wi-Fi is not free with this Apartment Complex there is daily charge of 6 euro for this service or 1 euro for 10 minutes on their computers. The computers themselves were quite slow at loading pages most of the time, one time it took me 4½ minutes to get onto a website.
The Apartment Complex had a shop onsite, a mini-club for kids and entertainment most nights. Entertainment wasn’t up to much but the kids seemed to enjoy themselves.
Overall a very enjoyable place to stay, a 15 minute stroll would take to the beach or into the busier side Costa Teguise were there is loads of wee shops and bars.
Remember to bring warm clothes for night time as the temperature does drop a fair bit.

Room Tip: Room 225 gets the sun most of the day
