We visited twice, during our weeks visit in costa teguise, and the lady and her daughter, never greeted us with a smile or an hello, they look so miserable!, even Carl the singer, was just going through the motions, they all looked as if they didn't want to be there.

Used this bar on our recent trip to costa teguise. Was nothing special and there are much better bars nearby.

This is a great Irish sports style bar, run by very friendly people from the "Emerald Isle". The Shamrock is located in a small square of bars and shops and an ideal place to stop for a coffee, beer or meal when out and about. The service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable. Well worth stopping for a couple of beers, or lunch in the sun.

weve visited the shamrock every time we come to teguise and have to say this year we found it a bit disappointing, the guy singing, carl white is really good but it same songs every night and have been for last 3 years lol but we still enjoyed him and joined in but was really disappointed with our cocktails they went through the back to make them??why??and we now know why, when we got them they were mocktails!!we even let the kids try them to see what they thought and they said fruit juice/smoothies so beware don't get a cocktail here unless they make it in front of you we did complain but was told they defo got alcohol in them but at 7euro a cocktail you would expect a bit of alcohol in it

We are a family of 3 with a little 4 year old girl and travelled to Costa Teguise with my step father and step mother. We had had several meals at several different places whilst here for the week. Whilst walking we found this restaurant in a quiet looking square so decided to stop for a drink and for lunch. I myself decided to have a cheese omlette and my partner opted for a cheese toastie. The omlette was the most expensive one we had had anywhere and the same for the toastie but we were both hungry and thought that with the price being that little bit more we would get a decent meal. How wrong we were - the person serving never smiled once and just sempt to glare at us as we walked in. The omlette was so small it didnt even look as though it had been folded in half as omlettes normally are never mind have any cheese inside (i couldnt see any cheese neither taste it) and the toastie was much of the same, the bread was so thin you could see the so called filling inside. For the price we paid we thought we would of got a decent meal but this was just not the case and upon looking at other venues afterwards saw that we could of got the same item (much bigger and better) for cheaper ! This was such a shame and very disappointing, everywhere else that we ate at was simply lovely. The venue itself looks nice and inviting with all the wicker chairs outside but as they say looks are deceiving. We felt very "ripped off" by this venue and to put it into perspective a shabby looking pizza snack place close to our hotel was 10 times better tasting and value meal than that of the Shamrock. Wish we had the nerve to of mentioned this at the time but with the already cold welcome and not even being asked if the meal was ok didnt feel as though we were given the chance. Such a shame as we would of visited several times had the meal been a decent one as the place itself could be a gold mine if managed better. Sorry Shamrock just hope this helps you realise what others are offering for a lot cheaper.
